    I can't help but think that he will make some dumb statement without thought in response to some reporters question. If he chooses any side it would be with the one running Chicago (Democrats) than those who are with the Union just because he got his start from the political machine. Not because he wants to appeal to moderates or he believes Rham is right.

    There are some who believe that Rahm and Obama set this up so that Obama could sweep in and play peacemaker, boosting his prospects for November. I refuse to believe that Democrats can be that organized.

    Besides which, there's no freeking way that Rahm would ever consent to be Obama's straight man.
