He also has a net worth of more than $5 million dollars. The shrieking leftists seem to have a problem with Romney's wealth and the manner in which it was acquired, does anyone wonder where all Reid's money came from? Yeah, I didn't think so. How many houses does Reid own?

Then we have Nancy Pelosi, who made as much as $5 million dollars on outsourcing just last year. If you lefties want to hate on capitalism, investing, and offshoring, you really should look into Pelosi and her husband. LOTS to complain about there. How many houses does she own?

Then we have Debbie Wasserman Schultz, flaming hypocrite and compulsive liar (and therefore a model Democrat), who has money in Swiss bank Accounts and invests overseas!!! GASP!!! How many houses does she own?

Personally speaking, I couldn't possibly care less how many houses any of them own. If they are successful, good for them. Wealth is a GOOD thing, something to work towards, not something to be hated and envied.

In The Real World you don't get a shiny "participant" sticker, there are winners and losers.
The winners are out there busting their humps and getting ahead. The losers are whining and complaining.
Wealth is great, but it is not a qualification for President. It does not mean Romney is right for America as some seem to believe. Votng for someone because of their wealth is as bad as the reverse.

Why, is it a secret that Mormons are expected to tithe? Just don't call a religious obligation somehing it is not.
Who said we should dump $40 trillion in the economy? I am just calling the bluff that the wealthy don't have the money to pay our debt.

Our last house purchase happened just as prices started recovering and availability started dropping like a rock. It was a short sale. The asking price was 79,900, we offered 91,111. There were 13 offers. Ours was the highest. Closed early June. Trulia has it now at 115,000. There were bunches available in the neat little area, but not now.
You have also taken an opportunity that fit you well. The banks and individuals screwed up, we've taken advantage of what was left. Smart.

I didn't mean to give the impression that these were all for my personal use. Of those 8 houses, I occupy one and my ex-wife occupies another. I rent out the other 6. They're all in the sane complex and I've paid every different price for them. The last 5 were irresistibly cheap. I rent them out way below market and my tenants love me (and will never move). I hope to buy a few more but NOTHING is for sale anymore since the banks quit repo-ing anything.

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

I'm gonna go lower. McCain's houses were before the market tanked...of course it's possible that he's increased his holdings to make money when the market comes back.

I said 4. Just to pick a number. I have no idea, and it doesn't really mean anything.

If Romney set good policies and examples I'd vote for him too.

@ James, clearly doesn't understand real economics. Not that an average citizen like you really needs to know.
