Really? Do you think overturning bankruptcy laws so unions could be protected while bondholders were raped is embracing capitalism?
Do you think funneling billions of dollars into green businesses owned by supporters is not corrupt? Crony capitalism is not capitalism. It is political corruption.
Do you believe using the NLRB to prevent Boeing from opening a plant where it wants to is embracing capitalism? Of course it isn't. It too is political corruption.

nope Im saying the conclusions you draw are your opinions and nothing more, pretty simple to understand
Okay. You are hardly objective. Time to move on to more fruitful endeavors.

Of course there are different flavours of capitalist and of conservative, but neither Obama nor his right-wing opponents can claim that he is anything other than a capitalist, and hence a conservative too. He clearly wishes to retain and preserve traditional institutions such as the clearly corrupted and unrepresentative system of 'liberal democracy'. He also wishes to ensure that social change proceed along very incremental, gradualist lines. He has neither attempted nor even advocated anything remotely radical or revolutionary during his political career.

Seeing as how I'm not a socialist or a communist...and I'm a conservative who has never contended that he is anything other than a capitalist...your whole screed applies to me not one bit. Perhaps you should be having this conversation with someone else?

When you win an election you get to run things the way you see fit. The people put you in there for a reason, not to pander to the other side and ask them like a big softy "what do you think we should do"
Sort of the way you Wisconsin lefties gave Scott Walker the space 'to run things the way he saw fit.' Please. You only want leaders to do things the way YOU see fit.

No, because I am smart enough to realize that circumstantial evidence still needs traditional evidence to support it or else it becomes unfounded suspicion.

Actually I still haven't decided which person I am voting for, but this actually gives me a case to make a point about your paranoia.

You assume things that you don't necessarily know, as evidenced by your assumption that you know who I am voting for or who I support. Because you substitute opinion and assumption for fact, your paranoia seems reasonable to you and everyone else makes fun of you (yes, even many of the conservatives here).

    In conclusion:

Since we are discussing Barack Obama, not Mycroft, what are you blathering about? I'm not remotely interested in your political identity.

Okay. There is no shame in your inability to connect the obvious dots. Let's move on.
