You can thank both parties for that. Not the normal "both parties are bad" thought but it's this "team" mentality has really gone over the edge, and it's quite detrimental to the health of the country as a whole. It's honestly the #1 threat to this country, and everyone is buying into it more and more . The more the team mentality is advanced, the less actual honest debatable material comes out and the more hyperbolic statements come out of each side wanting to kill your grandma etc...

    Agreed.

Now I must tell you that today, for the first time, I took the time to figure out your user name: Copacetic. All this time, as I glanced at it, I thought it was Kaopectate. Just an odd rambling....glad I finally figured it out.

If he is full of catharsis, the other name might be useful actually.

Its a neat name I think, but of the way its spelled, it has multiple meanings.

Ahh; you're cute. Yeah, I get so disgusted that I can hardly stand it anymore. I think that the Republican platform is too business minded: it's all business school profit stuff run amok as you say. The Dems are so weak that FDR would spin in his grave if saw what was going on. Hell, Elenore used to pack heat!!

There's just so much negative rhetoric that that's all we hear anymore: someone gets elected and then it's back to the sos: we either take a bath or we don't.

I can't wait for the day when both sides of voters start to band together. That's what they don't want.

    That's an uninformed opinion.

The truth is there is no possible way someone like myself can compromise with someone like Obama. Its also not in the interest any more for the republicans to comprimise as they have had to give up more and more of what they believe in over many decades of time and like always it gets to the point where you have to stop and stand your ground. Its no wonder they are there really.

The poll question is one of those like, "when did you stop beating your wife?".

Pointing out how dumb it is was kind of spud's point.
