How Would Romney Govern?
What do you think?
He'd side 90% or more with Republican conservatives
He'd challenge conservatives and/or compromise with moderate democrats
He'd take positions based on polling data
Like Bush! Romney is proposing more of the same trickle down economics, financial deregulation, and increased military spending that Bush delivered on.
Poorly. ...
Well, if you don't understand something, then fall back on your biased preconceptions.
It worked like a charm for many in the past and seems to be working well for you.
Good job!
How would you compare the anticipated outcomes to those of the Big 0? I'm having trouble figuring out how anything could be less successful than the failure of the Big 0.
Romney wants us to go to war with Iran, for one, and go into yet another war that we cannot afford right now.
More trickle down economics, financial deregulation, and increased military spending is what Romney has promised throughout the debates, its very clear to most of us.

How do you define "trickle down economics"?
I never compared him to Obama. Both will be very unsuccessful.
Unity is key, i wish I could say that he would try and work with the Democrats, but that is simply not realistic.
Supply side economics - where tax breaks are given to those on the top under the assumption they will create jobs in this country. We now have a decade of experience with the failure with that approach.
Thanks, but no thanks!
Do you have a link from a credible news source?
What has Obama done to correct this horrible thing? I know that the Bush years had an average of about 5% unemployment and the Big 0 has "corrected that". Good job Mr. President!
Obama has had 4 years to help correct the problem you cite. What has he done?
Compared to 4 years ago today, we have 3.5 million fewer American jobs and 11.5 million more Americans. This kind of math may not be Trickle Down, but it should be just a tad terrifying to anyone, no matter how partisan.
Only one has already been an utter and complete failure creating or expanding the most disastrous set of economic problems in the history of the nation.
If the other one does the absolute worst we can ever imagine him being capable of, it would be an improvement.
It's like having taken your car to a mechanic for 4 years and every year it costs more and never gets fixed. A new shop opens up in the neighborhood. Why not try out the new guy? You know the old guy can't do it and can't admit it.
By now, you've got to start worrying if your car can take much more.
I wasn't saying that Romney wasn't able or willing to try, I am saying that whoever wins is going to not be able to pass any legislation because of how the Senate and House are currently. I have no doubt that if elected Romney will try and work with the Dems, its just they might not be willing to work with him. And same vise versa. The Big 0 says that he couldn't pass his successful economic programs because the Reps were blocking him. Before that, the Super majorities of democrats in both houses also wouldn't pass his economic programs. Even Obamacare was passed by deceit and lies and arm twisting.
The Big 0 couldn't work with Democrats and couldn't work with Republicans. Mitt got the job done as a governor with an opposition legislature. We know one guy can't/won't do it and we know one guy will at least try.
You cite the results of trickle down economics/ financial deregulation and excessive military spending, and that expect people to want more of the same? LOL!
