Utter nonsense. Now can we get back the subject of New Orleans?

It's not utter nonsense, but sure, back to the topic at hand.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

As to the War on Terror not applying to Iraq, I clearly heard/read that the War on Terror was not undertaken only to take down Al Queda, he clearly stated we would take down ANY terrorist organisations and any nation harboring terrorists or supporting them. Iraq clearly and difinitively fell into that catagory under sodamned insane. If you and others have missinterpreted what he said to mean only Al Queda, then that is not him lying or being false, it is you having very poor comprehension of what was actually said.

"Today we focus on Afghanistan, but the battle is broader. Every nation has a choice to make. In this conflict, there is no neutral ground. If any government sponsors the outlaws and killers of innocents, they have become outlaws and murderers themselves. And they will take that lonely path at their own peril."--George W. Bush

I keep seeing people posting about him lying by trying to link Iraq to Al Queda, do you prehaps have links to those quotes where he did that? I was deployed for the war and we didn't get much civilian news (only intel briefs) at the time, so I apparently missed that item.

If you are one that thinks we shouldn't of done it, hey, thats your choice. But I personally cannot see any connection to it and the rebuilding of New Orleans. The Federal Government should not be wasting money building levies for only one city, it is the responsibility of the residents of that city to do it, not the fed.

    New Orleans.

Should it be rebuilt if/when it's destroyed again?

    New Orleans.

I think we should help them rebuild it a little further north.

As I recall, New Orleans got the nickname "Crescent City" because it was built on a crescent of high ground. I don't see any point to rebuilding in the swamp just so we can do it all over again in five or ten years.

No, absolutely not. Redirect freight to the Port of Houston. As far as the people go: They live in a hurricane-magnet that's surrounded by water and below sea level. Get the **** out, or, you know, get killed by the wrath of nature. Pretty simple choice.
I love the NSA. It's like having a secret fan-base you will never see, but they're there, watching everything you write and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that I may be some person's only form of unconstitutional entertainment one night.

Ragheads? That sounds a bit derogatory, don't you think? But I agree, back to the topic at hand.
