My own opinion is that any black who would be a member of the GOP tea party are opportunists and would sell out their own mother if it benefitted them personally. Lets not forget history that it was blacks that kidnapped and sold their own kind out of Africa to the slave traders. A pimp is a pimp.

Now that is one big racist remark

It was a terrible thing to do but Ron Smith is head of the Florida Democratic Party and so I don't believe Wasserman had anything to do with it. But then West is an vile opportunist and so to berate her on the house floor must make him feel real pimpy like.

Apparenly criticizing Obamacare is ALSO now racist

oh man you just can't make this stuff up.

if you say the President is from Chicago, that is ALSO racist

...“They keep saying ‘Chicago,’” Matthews said. “That’s another thing that sends that message — this guy’s helping the poor people in the bad neighborhoods, screwing us in the ’burbs.”

Heilemann nodded, adding, “There’s a lot of black people in Chicago.”..
Apparently talking about the Constitution is racist:

...“The language of GOP racial politics is heavy on euphemisms that allow the speaker to deny any responsibility for the racial content of his message,” Williams wrote. “References to a lack of respect for the ‘Founding Fathers’ and the ‘Constitution’ also make certain ears perk up by demonizing anyone supposedly threatening core ‘old-fashioned American values.’”...
ya'll really are desperate to talk about anything other than the economy and the presidents' record, aren't you?

Just the other day I heard a guy call him "Mr President"; but "President" is one word, obviously the speaker was referring back to the days when blacks were referred to only by one word names. It's so awful, how racist that guy was...

Why do conservatives keep calling Obama the "Kenyan?" They never seem to mention the people who raised him, his white mother, white grandmother or white grandfather who fought in WW2. Instead they focus his Kenyan father that he never really knew. Why is that cpwill?

Romney's father was born Mexico. Have you ever seen or heard a liberal call Romney a Mexican or say that he wasn't an American because of where his father was born?

    Well Moot,

I can honestly only think of two reasons.

    1) they believe what his paternal grandmother said about being there during his birth in Kenya, or what his literary agent put up ... that he was born in kenya... Personally, I think it was Obama trying to make himself look more worldly to his literary agent, and he fibbed to her, or she did it as a way to make the young author more interesting... either way... as far as his grandmother apparently THAT was a mistake in translation ... somehow... I speak multiple languages, unfortunately none of them are african... though I must say I am not sure how someone mistranslates that, but since I dont speak that language I will have to acquiesce.

    2) They like poking dems with a sharp stick, and know that particular stick is both very pointy, and annoying.

as near as I can tell, we don't. mostly we just call him "the failure" unless we are making light of the incredible self-image the man has, in which case we call him "the One". there is a small subset of cranks who believe he wasn't born an american citizen; they make up a smaller portion of the electorate than the subset of cranks before them who believed that George Bush was behind 9/11; and they flow from similar stock.

They never seem to mention the people who raised him, his white mother, white grandmother or white grandfather who fought in WW2.
On the contrary, we don't talk that much about his parentage at all.

Apparently this back and forth between Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and Allen West, is personal, there is a whole lot more to this than just a single ad apparently... I don't know that CSPAN has a recording of her comments, so I will have to reserve judgement about WHAT she said to provoke this... but Wests, "Disgusting" email, follows...

Look, Debbie, I understand that after I departed the House floor you directed your floor speech comments directly towards me. Let me make myself perfectly clear, you want a personal fight, I am happy to oblige. You are the most vile, unprofessional ,and despicable member of the US House of Representatives. If you have something to say to me, stop being a coward and say it to my face, otherwise, shut the heck up. Focus on your own congressional district!

I am bringing your actions today to our Majority Leader and Majority Whip and from this time forward, understand that I shall defend myself forthright against your heinous characterless behavior……which dates back to the disgusting protest you ordered at my campaign hqs, October 2010 in Deerfield Beach.

You have proven repeatedly that you are not a Lady, therefore, shall not be afforded due respect from me!

    Steadfast and Loyal

    Congressman Allen B West (R-FL)

Apparently he's just saying... if you want a fight ... bring it on... I doubt anyone scares the good colonel... being shot at for a living kinda brings that out in some.
