I found some of your remarks very insightful. I agree, watermelons and chicken can be used in a derogatory way and I totally agree can be a racist remark. However in my lifetime, I have never known "food stamps" to have the same implied meaning. You say that it is the way it is perceived by blacks, I'm sorry but I just cant buy that one. You look at Sharpton and Jessy Jackson, a white person can not open their mouth without being called a racist. It has come to the point the left cries "Racist" so often it has lost its meaning.
I dont care if it is a Woman, Mexican, Black or any other minority, when you are President of our country, there is going to be heat in the kitchen. No matter who you are , you're are going to be critizied, just suck it up and deal with it instead of whinning all the time

I do not think you are promoting this nor do I question your sincerity. I read the links I am simply repulsed by the whole idea as both the target of this nonsense is portrayed in such a manner and the target of the information is also treated in such a derisive manner for shoving this crap down their throats.
A derogatory for a person of african or african american decent. BUT it could also mean a generally lazy person. This term came to be when you think of african americans sitting on there porch chatting it up.
Someone without a job that sits on their porch all day drink'n 40's, and trading food stamps for crack.
A person, of African descent, usually found in the Southern states of the United States. Porch Monkeys were commonly found sitting on their porches doing little or nothing all day. Usually found on Plantations or large land lots with a house/shack of some sort including a porch. An Alabama Porch Monkey
Urban Dictionary: porch monkey
Since your a good ol southern boy, cpwill, do southerners associate "porch monkey's" with welfare and foodstamps? According that definition above, it sure looks they do.

Here is one article I have not seen where any particular source is cited for the wiki defacement. There seems to be some comments about it which claim that liberals wrote them. When it comes to wiki I look askance at any "information" and need the specific sources before being convinced.
