loaded question. Unless you can prove that Romney has accepted amnesty, it is useless to address your question till then.
Your question makes as much sense as saying IF President Obama beats his wife and kids would it be a non issue. Speculation does no one any good.

But to somewhat answer. any person running for pubic office who has broken tax laws, been convicted, or taken a plea deal, it would be good to know. I am not aware this is the case with Romney. Many people amend their tax forms to make corrections or additions to the submission without it being amnesty from the IRS.

    They are both equally irrelevant.

Speculation is the basis for a lot of good work. I did it in engineering. We would speculate on how some design could fail and what the result would be, etc. Some of what Bain did invites speculation. Recent documents invite speculation. If Obama’s wife showed up bruised from an obvious beating you are saying you would not speculate. I would. Yup, many people amend their tax submittal. The fines for amnesty do show up according to what I’ve been informed.

What we have here are taxers and birthers and transcripters who are nuts. Who are fitted with tinfoil hats.

And you've got the size of yours down to a T.

Who is the one not thinking?

    I asked you this:

Can you name another campaign in history where a candidate's campaign actively helped its opponents tear down their own candidate?

    You failed to answer.

You more or less have to amend and attach a statement explaining the voluntary disclosure:

Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Program Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

Romney won't release his 2009 as that's the most likely year he came forth on voluntary disclosure.

Don't you think that's rather pathetic?
Not really. People who understand the time frame, the scandals and political campaigns understand why Romney won't release before 2010.

You, on the other hand, think it's NORMAL for campaigns to actively help their opponents fuel dirty rumors about their own candidate that hurt their chances of reelection.

I keep pointing out how the longer Romney refuses to release, the more people think he's hiding something. And actual tax experts (read: Not You) are coming forth saying there is basically only a few things that Romney can actually be hiding that are worth hiding. The UBS scandal is the #1 on the list at the moment. Just google "Romney, UBS, Voluntary Disclosure" and the hits start coming and they are coming from tax experts.

You are so partisan that you think it's normal for campaigns who want to win to actively help their opponents win instead.

And here is YOUR brand of stupid, crazy taxer talk...and you keep repeating it. Evidently, you think that if you keep saying it...it'll someday be true. It won't.

The rest of your screed is nothing more than liberal taxer bull****. You know, a whole bunch of Bain and Romney financial records have been hacked and release a couple of days ago. That means y'all have had two days to look for something damaging. LOL!! Since then...nothing. That should tell you something, don't you think? Heck, even Obama's campaign has stopped making a big deal about Romney's tax records.

You got nothing...and that bugs the **** out of you.

There is something you taxers should think about. The birthers had their share of nutjobs...but even the craziest of them...Trump, for instance...knew when to shut up.

You guys aren't smart enough to figure out when to quit.

Frankly, I expect Obama to put out the word to you guys to shut the **** up before you CAUSE him to lose.

Again, not my fault you have no grasp of the topic at hand.

Do you even know what UBS is? I seriously doubt it.

Again, you're the one arguing it is normal for campaigns to help their opponents spread dirty rumors about themselves.

Not me. I'm in fact saying that's WHY Romney has something worse. You seem to think it's normal campaign behavior to help your opponents tear your own candidate down.

You guys aren't smart enough to figure out when to quit.
This coming from a guy who thinks its normal for campaigns to actively help their opponents spread dirty rumors about their own candidate.

Look "Mr. I think Yelling makes a good argument,"

I pointed out how Romney's steadfast refusal casts suspicion. I pointed out how there is really only 1 scandal within 2009 that is of any real material. I pointed out how Romney's refusal actively helps the Obama campaign tear down Romney and cast him as dishonest, secretive and unwilling to be frank with America.

You, however, have not even shown you even understand what a tax scandal is. You have redefined what a taxer is to include anyone who even THINKS there is something questionable in Romney's returns. I'm not calling for Romney to release. In fact, I have repetitively stated I agree with his stance NOT to release concerning the likelihood of a UBS scandal. You haven't even shown you know what UBS is.

Where birthers are based on an inherent dislike of Obama, I'm merely pointing out that Romney is actively helping Obama's rumor on him. I also pointed out the timeframe in question and the sole real scandal.

You seem to think it's all crazy for people to think that Romney has something in the return that's bad. And you are entirely unwilling to even attempt to answer my question about when was the last time you saw a campaign that actively helped its opponent spread a dirty rumor about itself for so long.

That leads me to believe you think it's normal for campaigns to help their opponents in tearing themselves down.

That leads me to believe you are insanely partisan.

I agree with Romney not to release. The Democrats would have a field day if the UBS scandal got out. Much better for people to think he paid little legally.
