It's kind of depressing that this is actually a serious question.

Of course, if she was a woman that held my beliefs and ideals then I would vote for her.

Margaret Thatcher proved a woman can be a great president.

If any woman is a qualified candidate, and the majority of her political views match most closely to my own, hell yes I'd vote for a woman president. In fact, I already have. I just had to write-in her name.

Watching Tigger's meltdown if she won would just be a fun bonus.

Race, age, gender, sexuality, religion etc etc dont matter one bit if the person is qualified

now could any of those thing indirectly impact their qualification? yes but it would be coincidental and not the norm.

Oh for ****'s sake, there have been queens, ruling without a king, for thousands of years. How this could be an issue in a modern democracy is embarrassing.

Re: Would You Vote a Woman into Presidential Office?

I suppose I would under the right circumstances if she were VERY clearly the best choice for me, policy-wise. But that said, if I'm being totally honest here, I would rather vote for a man if it came down to a tie on all angles. I know that sounds kinda awful, but it honestly doesn't come from any sort of a hateful place. There has been a lot of research and a lot of widely accepted findings about the differences in the way men and women innately think and make decisions. Both sexes definitely have their own strengths and weaknesses. It just so happens that I (as a man, suprise suprise) find the male traits in that department much more desirable in a President than the female ones. I'd be lying if I said that wouldn't factor fairly heavily into my decision.
