I couldn't select any of the poll options.

I don't consider gender to be something that impacts my selection of a candidate.

My views: I would be very excited to see a woman who held my views run for president or even vice president. I would be excited to see someone whose views match my own running for office, but her being a woman would be the cherry on top. I would not go so far as to vote for any average woman just because she's a woman, because I feel the first female president is going to be held to higher standards and have her every move scrutinized by her critics. A sub par female president would only set us back.
Hell no!A woman's place is in the kitchen, making her man a sandwich, getting him a beer, pregnant and bare feet taking care of the house, kids and her man. Besides that why would a woman want to run for president when she can get a man to take care of her.(sarcasm)

I would vote for a woman if she shared my views.I would never vote for a candidate simply because of their gender, race,or what ever else.

But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

I can't vote. The poll questions aren't accurate for allot of people...

I would vote for anyone who has solid policies and experience I identify with. I don't give a rats ass what sex they are.

If the candidates are all going to be as bad as they have been for the last several elections...hell yes...and I hope she is a large breasted hot as hell stripper. Redhead would be nice.

What difference does gender make? Offer some candidates. I would have voted for Hillary over McCain. I would vote for Rice in a heartbeat. I was a big fan of Jean Kirkpatrick running back in 88 and the 90s.

You don't. You just remind him that you've written off his views on certain subjects when those subjects come up due to your mutual inability to agree upon certain elementary concepts.
I'm already gearing up for Finger Vote 2014.

Just for reference, means my post was a giant steaming pile of sarcasm.

Probably gonna get bashed for this, but I chose the "hesitation" part because I believe a child's best chance for a good future is with mom staying home. That is if dad is around and he can provide for the family. There are other exceptions, of course, but that is my general belief.

Are you speaking about the president's children? Or just hesitant to encourage women to work in general?

I can't think of any reason not to simply vote for the best candidate. And I can't think of any reason why gender would have any effect on who the best candidate is.

So, if she has no kids, or they're grown up, there wouldn't be a problem?
