Re: Would You Vote a Woman into Presidential Office?

Admission is the first step, good to see it being taken.

I have noted those who wear their 'morality' on their sleeve have a highly customized code. Doesn't really follow any rules they don't like, only the ones they do.

Some, like refraining from doing something are perhaps easier if the doing is difficult.

I have always seen 'ignore' as running away on a highly selective basis.

Anyways, given the track record of men running the world I don't see how a woman's touch can be worse, having listened to so many anti-female x-spurts I can only reckon when the day comes and we have a female Commander in Chief there will be mass slitting or wrists...

or just one or two, most are all bark...

That was only part of my point.

The other part is you said you had reservations about voting for a woman because of PMS.

And I am saying that there is no point in having reservations about voting for a woman because she might have severe PMS because there are conditions men can have that can be just as mood altering.

Now if you know for a fact that a woman candidate has severe PMS - then fine.

But of you do not, to have a reservation on her becoming POTUS strictly due to the possibility that she might have severe PMS is, imo, unfair since a male candidate can have severe prostate problems that could potentially be just as emotionally debilitating.

    That is my main point.

Also, I have great respect for your posts - and I am surprised you would have such reservations.

But perhaps you did not know of severe prostititis and it's impact on many men - I myself knew nothing of it before it affected me.

My legal counsel has suggested I don't comment publicly on what my reaction to a female POTUS would be.

TRADITION is the only reason and logic I need. It's based on hundreds of years of experience in life and that's the truest measure of what is and isn't proper and appropriate.

Good, now this thread doesn't have to turn into another thread about Tigger and his "beliefs."

The tradition I was taught by my family, community, and society. How about the fact that we've operated quite successfully by these same Traditions for more than 400 years.

It was your family, community and society that taught you to abuse women like you do so as to try to assuage your inferiority complex? Who woulda thunk?!

All this time I was attributing it to compensation.

not familiar with your community but much of society disagrees and your OPINION of how we operated for 400 years is false lol

I asked you for logic and facts not your unsupportable opinion

are you suggesting that in 400 years are tradtion were always right and they didnt change for the better and some of them were wrong?

and are you suggesting that in 400 years we have never had successful leaders that were off my list

    women
    young
    old
    black
    Latino
    Asian
    German
    Arab
    gay
    cross dressers
    Indian
    Muslim
    Jewish

    etc etc

You clearly are uneducated about american history, its traditions and how effect, ineffective, right or wrong they have been lol

hey, but again thats your right to believe things that cant be backed up by logic or facts, you are free to do so
