Violence against women (or anyone) hurts society and is thus within society's realm to ban. There's no agreement that nulls a felony (the offence is to and thus the plantiff is the state), and finding a person to agree doesn't change that.

Still wish I could vote "If she was the best person for the job. It has nothing to do with sex."

I obviously disagree, if all parties are consenting, I don't have a problem with it. As far as violence against anyone hurting society, I totally disagree. Shooting felons committing a felony, people breaking into your house, robbing others, raping women etc, never harms society, this application of violence prevents harm to society. Violence is not itself either good or bad or harmful to society, it is to what application violence is applied that can be bad or harmful, sometimes it can be good and helpful.

Stopping a forcible felony (anywhere you can legally carry) with lethal force is not a felony (under SYG). I wrote "violence against women", not "violence employed legally". There's really no cause for confusion. Why are you confused?

I wouldn't be happy and excited to vote for a women because she is a women, I'd have to be happy and excited to vote for her because she is the candidate I like best.

As long as they're on their backs...

If you claim sexual harassment to be wrong, yet you defend anyone on your side for any reason,
then you are a hypocrite and everything you say on the matter is just babble.

In your opinion, is pre-marital sex acceptable?

    Just curious. Off-topic, I know.

Re: Would You Vote a Woman into Presidential Office?

I'd have no problem voting for a woman into any elected position given that she was the best candidate for the job. While the Lefties are sure to have a conniption, the fact remains that men and women are genetically different in both mind and body. Women tend to be better communicators than men, but men tend to be more decisive in their actions. This isn't universal, just a tendency, but the tendencies are there.

I think these differences make women better diplomats, but make men better military leaders.
