Is it Time to Let Women Rule the World?

Let Women Rule The World

Men have pretty much proven they can't pilot this ship. They had tens-of-thousands of years at the helm and it seems we're all on the Titanic. Either we've already hit the iceberg, or we're on a collision course.

Isn't it about time we throw in the towel? perhaps let somebody different have a try?

Who better to "clean up the mess" men have made? :3oops:

Change? You want change?

Put the ladies in charge.

On every level of government. From the POTUS right down to the mail room janitor and every place in between.

Fill every office, every cabinet position, and every seat in congress with females.

Could they really do a worse job then the men have done?

Women are just as capable of ****ing things up.

I think that men are generally more prone to behaving like idiots than women are. If women were in charge of the world, there would probably be fewer wars and financial crises. And before anyone cites examples of females who led their nations into war, I'd just point out that they were still operating within a male-dominated power structure where they were expected to be as tough and belligerent as the men.

I don't think I'd go so far as to say that we should "let women rule the world," but I do think we need more female representation at all levels of government. One interesting proposal I've heard is for an amendment to require each state to elect one male and one female senator. It's an interesting idea and I'm not sure how it would play out in practice.

Awful. Affirmative Action of all types has been an unmitigated disaster for decades, and you want to see how it works at a level of very influential power? Ugh...

Are they? How would any of us know?

They've never completely run the country. They never been "in charge".

Perhaps they'd just phuck up simpler things? Things that wouldn't be so devastating to the rest of us?

So equality sucks huh? Tens-of -thousands of years of male dominated rule across the globe.

Perhaps it's time for change?

I'm not necessarily saying it's a good idea, just that it's an interesting idea. I'd be curious to see in what ways our government behaves differently (if at all) if it wasn't so male-dominated. Like I said, my guess would be less militarism and fewer financial crises.

HELL NO!!! Among the worst ideas ever concieved in human history. As bad as things are now (and they're pretty bad), they would only get WORSE if we moved to a Matriarchal social structure.

That's all we can do, Blackdog. It's the people who refuse to actually believe in anything or stick to those beliefs that scare me the most.

What's a real shame, and something that's to be highly feared is when somebody who lives in a country like the USofA can openly support the idea that men are inherently better at everything than women are simply because they are men.

That's just ignorance and idiocy on a level I can't even begin to understand, nor do I want to.

Because matriarchy has never happened in the history of the world before.

Exactly my point. Perhaps it time. Give them a shot. Men have rendered the who system completely unworkable.
They can't do sh!t anymore. Men are spinning wheels and merely just collecting paychecks while delivering nothing.

Send them all packing. Replace them.

Let the ladies take over and run the show for a while.

"Leading" in not "for males only".

Willful ignorance of history is not an argument.

The fact the men have "traditionally" ruled since the dawn of time has nothing to do with the abilities of today's women to do a better job then the men have.

Iroquois league comes to mind as just one example.

There have been female rulers all throughout history. You need to get off the internet, turn off the tv, and read a history book.

The USofA has had a female leader? Really? Wow....I should get off the computer. And the congress has had a female majority? Holy sh!t.....I've missed it all.....damn......see ya

There are a few men that are fit to rule...and there are as many women fit to rule....our problem has always been we always choose the wrong ones...not a gender thing at all.....
Hillary would have been a far better president than Obama...

So now it's just America, is it? But yes, we've had quite a few actually. Generals, Congresswomen, Senators, Secretaries of State, etc. and even more in the private sector. They're no better or worse than men when it comes to leadership skills.

It doesn't matter who rules when you live in a system that puts your leaders in perpetual checkmate. Obama, Hillary, even Romney -- the differences are marginal because the arrangements of power throughout the system, and the motivations of those multiplicity of powers, narrow the policies they are able to pursue to a very small number.

Could they really do a worse job then the men have done?

Conceivably, although not necessarily.

To begin with, women are driven by even fiercer rivalries and protective instincts than those that compel the actions of men. Nations ruled by women historically (Elizabeth I of England) don't have any specific advantages over those states administrated by men, in terms of peace or prosperity.

You have to realize I have no choice but to be more simplistic in my assessing...I dont have the ability to break it down so intrinisically :)

I'm tickled by all the people who said "hell no" to having all female leadership, but often enthusiastically endorse unilateral control by one party or the other.

I have no idea if all women is the answer. But I think, at this point, more women is certainly an improvement. Can't help but think back to the controversy over birth control pills a little while ago. A panel of five men making decisions about women's health. That ain't right.

So everything is fine huh? No problems in the world? No major issues? No problems with life?
All is grand and wonderful?

I tell yea what, you go live with the standards of just 100 years ago.
Call me when you're ready to admit, that things are dramatically better now, rather than then.

Well you won't be able to call me, because the average person didn't have a phone 100 years ago.

that is the biggest crock.

That is the kind of crap I expect from femi-Nazi's.

Yes, they could. I know plenty of women that are just as big an idiot as men. No differences.

Basically your comments are bigoted and show an unrealistic hatred of men. Sorry, no dice.

Why is it crazy?

What's wrong with women?

Are you saying they can't at least do as well as the men have done?

Are you saying they would be worse at running things than the men have been?

Get over yourself. Women have been running the whole show all along. You gals want to find someone to blame for our problems? Look in the mirror.

Who the heck was it that thought of civilization in the first place? It sure as heck wasn't us men!
