We're talking about entry statistics, what people report when they come *INTO* prison so they can make allowances for religious observances, etc. The religious are seriously over-represented in prison populations compared to their numbers on the outside. Atheists are seriously under-represented in prison populations compared to their numbers on the outside.

And there are tons of atheists in foxholes.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

One time in Vietnam, I was scared out of my mind and I prayed desperately. That only demonstrates that a person has to be out of his mind to believe in invisible creatures who will save him.
On the outside, trickling down on the insiders.

70% of the population is Christian alone. Not even including Muslim etc. So that is perfectly understandable and no, not that many atheists in the fox hole just looking at the population. So yes they should be under represented.

    Again you knew this.

Knew you were wrong? Yes, I knew that. Upwards of 90% of people going into prison report that they are theists of some sort and the vast majority of those report that they are Christians. Far less than 1% of people going into prison report they are atheists.

And yes, there are tons of open atheists in foxholes.

Seems to me you don't want to admit that religion has problems.

Ayn Rand was a joke. Her faux ideology is worse than a joke. Todays randroids would have to multiply their teeny tiny numbers by a factor of at least ten to work UP to the level of a joke.

The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

I would say that Karl Marx is closer to L Ron Hubbard over Ayn Rand.

Yes, before Christianity stealing, rape and murder were not only legal but common. In fact it took either conversion or puppet governments lead by and only by Christians to stop it.

Those must have been four thousand extremely long crappy years. Or awesome years. It depends on whether you're on the business end or not, I guess.

Did he need to create a fictional world to bolster his point?
