YOu have been here for less than a month. My position is well known on this board. Owning a weapon is a fundamental constitutional right which existed prior to the constitution was even penned. Of course people should be able to competently use weapons. The more competence you have the less likely criminals will survive attacking you. and the more criminals who are center-punched by honest people, the better. but to merely own a weapon should not require any test

carrying one concealed on public property-that is a better argument for competence. but we know how "literacy tests" were used by racist whites to prevent blacks from voting. given how many left-wingers are hostile to people owning guns, I don't want to enable obstacles

Right wing whacko nut job paranoia disguised as a book.

I do not care how many people suffer from self imposed mental delusions of their own creation.

I apologize for not reading up on every member's political views before joining.

But the point of the right is to be able to defend yourself and your country when need be, is it not? There's no reason to "merely own a weapon". If you're not going to do anything with it, why have it?

that comment really has no relevance and appears to be a knee jerk defense of your lord Obama without every understanding the argument or evidence presented by the author.

of course the Obama faithful consider anyone who sees Obama for the failure he really is as "mentally deluded"

    wrong again

there are many people who collect weapons for the sake of collecting them

I know people who have expensive samurai swords and have no clue how to properly draw such a weapon let alone use it as intended.

My "lord Obama"!?!?!?!? What ridiculous over the top nonsense you spew.

How can anyone understand your unnamed author of a untitled book when you have utterly failed to present other than saying it exists?

Even when you lamely attempt to introduce evidence you can only pretend to vaguely pretend that it exists.

So the right isn't intended for defense of yourself, your family, and your country?

If you're going to purchase a weapon for collection, why not buy one without an ignition mechanism or a vital internal piece? You don't need a fully automatic/semi-automatic/single-shot functioning gun just for looks.

The issue with guns is not whether or not people know how to accurately hit what they aim at. The issue is making sure that the people who get the guns can be trusted not to aim them at innocent people.

Then why are you utterly impotent to name it or its author?

I suspect that even someone on the fringes as you are would be embarrassed by the actual contents of such garbage so you avoid any real exposure of it to spare yourself a good taking to the woodshed.
