Sorry folks. I can't figure out how to get the checkboxes and there is nowhere to delete this or I would.

When you create a thread, scroll down. There is a section: Post A Poll

Check the box and fill in the number of options you want to include for your poll. It will then bring up a new screen and you can fill it in.
