Native Americans... though the Spanish were perhaps even more ruthless than the Americans/British.
Some of those on the list don't seem like a sin in the slightest. The American Revolution? The A-Bomb? What da hell?
The war for independence
Indians / native Americans
Hiroshima, Nagasaki bombing
The war in Vietnam
The Cold war
The Civil war
I can't tell
In modern times... I'd say hedonism and lack of self-control, and the balkanization of national identity and deconstruction of civic virtue.
Fiddling While Rome Burns
Carthago Delenda Est
"I used to roll the dice; see the fear in my enemies' eyes... listen as the crowd would sing, 'now the old king is dead, Long Live the King.'.."
2.)ethnic cleansing of native Americans
If you expect people to be rational, you aren't being rational.
There are quite a few choices that are correct. IOW, the U.S. (or more accurately - those in charge with the responsibility) committed or allowed it to happen. The two that are most certainly wrongs to me is what was done to the Native Americans and slavery - 'nuff said.
The way I see it, the FED would enslave everyone if it could, so the choice is easy, IMO.
Hard to pick, but I voted our decimation of Native Americans.
Slavery is a close second, but is not unique to America.
The Japanese nuclear bombing is a close third, but ish gets cray in a World War. Plus, it did put the final nail in the coffin for the Axis powers and ended the war for good. Also, in a twisted way, it might have benefited the world because showed us the horrors of nuclear weapons. One has to wonder how the Cold War might have gone had atomic bombs not been dropped on Japan.

If you notice something good in yourself, give credit to God, not to yourself, but be certain the evil you commit is always your own and yours to acknowledge.
AUSTAN GOOLSBEE: I think the world vests too much power, certainly in the president, probably in Washington in general for its influence on the economy, because most all of the economy has nothing to do with the government.
