Mainly tactical; I prefer not to tip my hand. I'd rather the BGs first clue I was armed came too late, as in "after I've already shot them."

As a side issue, socially, some people are made nervous by the open presence of a firearm. I don't really understand that myself, but I try to be courteous.
not that I cared enough to look at other states besides my own and any I might visit for extended periods but I wasnt even aware that there were states out there that you couldnt open carry??? thats BS.

I didnt answer the poll because i dont know what its asking? lol

    anyway

I have a CWP, concealed weapons permit and I have carried concealed.

I have now carried open but rarely and only a couple time on my way to the gun club.

If its a question about what should be allowed both open and concealed should be allowed and Im fine with checks/permits for concealed if they are fast.

I voted concealed. I don't personally have a problem with open carry, I just think there is too much anti-gun bias for someone to walk around with a desert eagle strapped to their belt. Also if you have a weapon openly visible and someone intends to do violence, you are pretty much target #1, you lose the element of surprise.

That is much my train of thought also. But how do you conceal a DE during the summer?

You have no idea, we don't get any of the cool guns that don't have an internal safety mechanism, no magazines > 10 rounds, must have a fixed stock if 16" barrel (no adjustable), no foregrips, no CCW unless you're (ex)LEO but that may be changing August 7th, and in my county ammuntion costs twice as much. Paying > $12 for 100 rounds of CCI Mini mag 22LR is an outrage, in Baltimore I paid $6.

Heck if you look @ Smith and Wesson's catalog, they make different (read: crappier) AR-15's so that they're legal in MD. I had to drive to PA to get my 25 round mags for my 10/22.

Maryland SUCKS for gun owners, but there is some hope.

May I suggest the generation 3 Glock 19 varietal. It provides an aromatic fragrance and nice bouquet, especially when cleaned with Hoppes No. 9, and tends to be austere in nature until a few hundred rounds pass through it. The grip provides a hint of texture and traction that embraces your grasp, and provides balance. At times it provides a smoky aroma, especially after firing. It is also elegantly refined with no rough edges or imperfections. Although some describe its appearance as vanilla, others find it to be silky in nature, the epitome of the most elegant, fine and refined simi-auto carry pistols on the market.

I suppose it depends on how you dress. I am a hot natured person and usually wear khakis/jeans and a polo shirt so I couldn't pull it off, even my Glock 22 is a bit bulky.
