Typical libertarian. Community is more than commerce. Community comes from social values.
It's the belief that economics define patriotism which leads people to believe that paying taxes is patriotic in the first place. They forget how freedom of assembly is based on principles not performance.
I would say taxes are simply a quid pro quo. You either pay them, or you go to jail. Patriotism, imo, would be buying American made goods.
