It's not an issue of patriotism. It's an issue of maturity. It's extremely childish to whine about paying the membership fee to be a part of the United States. All of the wonderful things we enjoy here cost money. We all have to pay for them. Get with the program.

Why is it anyone's right to force you to join a club and pay for it?

Nobody forces anyone to live in America. There's other countries, you know.

Last I checked, being given birth to involves physical force.

Likewise, the government allows anyone to reproduce, not checking for social qualifications.

It's no different from lending a house to someone to take you hostage.

Expecting the hostage to so much as lift a finger is coercion.

sad that the selfish and greedy place themselves and their worship of Mammon above America and the American people.

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

If you were an infant, you could use that excuse. I don't suppose you are still a child, living here by force?

Likewise, the government allows anyone to reproduce, not checking for social qualifications.
What? If you like imposed sterilization you need to move to a country that believes in that. I think China doesn't allow more than 2 kids, that might be a good place to go.

It's no different from lending a house to someone to take you hostage.
This statement makes no sense whatsoever. As an adult, you are able to move to another country instead of griping that you don't want to do what is required here.

Expecting the hostage to so much as lift a finger is coercion.
Geez, now you are a hostage? Okie - dokie!

Can you show that anyone has 'hid' their money? I mean, the fact that even a common citizen such as yourself knows he has accounts overseas means it's kinda public knowledge. Or can you show that it is illegal for him to use a legal method to avoid taxes in any way?

We all have to pay for them, except for half of the citizens who don't. Hmm.

No. We don't all have to pay for them. About half of us are paying for them, and the others are along for the ride.

Actually, everybody pays taxes, so no.
