Personally I feel that if someone renounces their American citizenship then they should never be allowed back into the US including it's territories, nor should they be allowed to do business with any American company.I don't care what someone's reasons are for renouncing their citizenship.
If a person renounces US citizenship, they should simply be treated as a non citizen, i.e. require a passport to enter the US, and be subject to all the same laws that non US citizens are subjected to. No more, no less.
I love the NSA. It's like having a secret fan-base you will never see, but they're there, watching everything you write and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that I may be some person's only form of unconstitutional entertainment one night.

What does that have to do with people and their level of excitement about being a citizen?

Actually, you would necessarily have those things (at least the passport). There are numerous steps to renouncing one’s citizenship but two of the requirements are:

    1. Already posses a non-US passport. This means you will have to first secure citizenship from another country before the US State department will accept your paperwork.
    2. Set up an appointment at a US embassy or consulate to submit your paperwork in person. Thus, you can’t do it from within the United States.

No we should not. An immigrant born in the other nations of the world did not turn his back on the USA and take a dump on it.

Screw these traitors. Flush them with the other crap.
