    Is Mitt Romney a Liberal?

Mitt Romney: A Liberal’s Liberal Republican : Patriot Newswire

Although there is no “perfect conservative,” and although conservatives have serious issues with every candidate running, Mitt Romney is nothing more than a strident liberal masquerading as a moderate. As Selwyn Duke rightly wrote in 2007, Romney is the Barack Obama of the GOP. Every Republican has made his share of mistakes, but Romney is a committed liberal on the whole spectrum of issues.
Mitt Romney, the liberal Democrat’s choice for president | Right Wing News

In my mind this really seals Romney’s RINO status. Liberals are comfortable with him because he’s one of them. Ugh.
The Favor Mitt Romney Did to Liberals | The People's View

The age-old conservative-liberal debate about the role of government in our society was put in stark light when last week, Mitt Romney demanded that our communities become less secure and our children less educated (by continuing to fire teachers, police officers, and firefighters).
Conservatives Can Stop the Liberal Mitt Romney | Debate Club | US News Opinion

Romney can be stopped if conservatives do two things. First conservatives must unite. We must agree, regardless of whether we like Gingrich, Perry, or Santorum, that Romney must be stopped. The second thing is conservatives must hit Romney on his liberal record. Romney is not a Massachusetts moderate. He is a liberal.
It seems many-a-Conservative writers agree. Romney is in fact a Liberal. So, with that said, what do you guys think? Is he? Is he not?

If he is, he must have had a really hard time pandering to the radical right during the primaries. Or he's a better actor than I thought..
Am I not destroying my enemies when I make friends of them?
    - Abraham Lincoln

Before the war is ended, the war party assumes the divine right to denounce and silence all opposition to war as unpatriotic and cowardly.

God, how patient are Thy poor! These corporations and masters of manipulation in finance heaping up great fortunes by a system of legalized extortion,
and then exacting from the contributors--to whom a little means so much--a double share to guard the treasure!

Not that a radical right exists, but you didn't notice his struggles with Gingrich or Huckabee?

My sentiments exactly. I'm still studying it but there are a lot of voters who don't vote the issues, they vote the team. As long as a candidate as a -D or a -R after their name on the ballot it's good enough for them.

I will say I think Romney is smart and if elected will be a good potus. I just think he's probably the most slick, tell you whatever he has to candidate we've seen since Bill Clinton. On the issues the biggest policy difference between Romney and Obama is tax philosophy for the wealthy.

He's neither a Liberal or a Neoconservative, he governed Massachusetts as a moderate out of necessity, and would most likely do the same if elected president.

I look at what the man has done while holding office rather than his rhetoric. His record speaks being a Liberal. His words mean absolutely nothing.

He's just adjustable. Not a FauxNEWS Republican, but only a liberal if he can achieve a little personal gain by temporarily adopting a liberal posture. A money man and a politician. He has had plenty of opportunity to be a job creator and has done the opposite. He's an outsourcer and a real professional at it. Buy it. Have layoffs. Sell the best assets. Bankrupt. That is the plan for buyout groups, including Bain Capital.

WRONG!!!! He governed Massachusetts as a LIBERAL, which is what the worthless **** really is, always has been, and always will be. Trust me, I lived through his four year tenure here. Romneycare, Gay Marriage, etc... No way to see him as anything other than a Liberal.

Which means there's no way he could be a Conservative, which makes him a Liberal by definition.
