I'd like to see Huntsman get the nod in 2016 if Romney doesn't win.
 
It will be interesting if Romney loses. The obvious reaction from the nutjob base will be to move further to the right. Hopefully that will be enough to make some of the more moderate Republicans jump ship.
 
Jim DeMint or maybe Nikki Haley to combat Hillary.

I think the perfect path has been set for Rand Paul to take the ticket in 2016. He followed his father's campaign until it was assured that Romney would be the nominee then he formally endorsed Romney. By endorsing the nominee favored by the Republican establishment he has set himself up perfectly to gain major support in 2016. Rand will hold the Libertarian principles of his father, but unlike Ron...he will have support of the elite GOP party. Rand Paul is set up to get it done.
 
I'm going with Rubio. He's already stated, on multiple occasions, that being VP is out of the question, and that he needs to have more time in the Senate.

Why would Rand do better than Governors Jindal, Christie, Bush (the pro-Immigrant one), Barbour, Sandoval, Martinez, etc.

Ignoring the more experienced Senators and Congressmen who could run.

(don't get me, I'd like to vote for Rand)

I think theyre nuts, simple...and being a good independent, Im able to say that about them and Dems and Republicans as well....there are dems and GOP I think are nuts also...Im not beholden to ANY of them...I have the luxury of picking and choosing who I support without that silly partisan agenda crap that most people get married too

I would like to know WHY you don't like them.

I like both Ron Paul and Bernie Sanders, and they're polar opposites. The least you can do is provide a good reason not to like Ron Paul. Do you not like his honesty? charisma? devotion to his constituents and admirers? his wonderful children and grandchildren? his lovely wife of over 50 years?

Yeah, I agree with you, Ron Paul sucks. Let's get rid of these honest politicians. More corruption please.

The answer is obviously, "Other". The only candidates in your poll are seasoned politicians. The GOP is now a cult. They need a new cult leader.
