Which is what Hussein Obama wants to lay on the military in addition to the other cuts....

Are you really this uninformed? Or~ do you find it acceptable to break the agreement on supercommittee:

"

The failure of the super committee to do its duty means that Americans have a government that's frozen, unable to meet the challenges of the moment and trapped in decision-making gridlock. The bigger picture of this drama is that Congress is seemingly unable to roll back the $15 trillion in debt that our nation holds, demonstrating that it neither has the political space nor the creative energy to tackle our country's financial woes while also protecting our nation's priorities, such as defense, health care, education, and our seniors.

Yet while the super committee failed to ensure that all Americans pay their fair share to fix our nation's economy, already the voices that helped get us into this mess are threatening to put us in an even worse place. In particular, those who call for unsustainably high levels of defense spending are threatening to upend the sequester triggers that ensure that cuts to defense spending take place.

Fortunately, President Obama has been leading on this issue since the creation of the super committee and is continuing to do so. In particular, his veto threat against undoing the defense cuts that have been triggered by the super committee's demise should be applauded. This is the kind of leadership that the country needs and that Congress so desperately lacks."

And we aren't going to just let people die because they can't pay their medical bills.

I think this should be amended, because it can be misleading.

And we aren't going to just let people die because they can't pay their medical bills because health insurance companies need to raise premiums in order to pay for more marketing and advertising and other costs that have absolutely nothing to do with providing health care to their customers.

I would say the SEC OF DEF might know a little more about that then you and the disdain you have for the military complex.....

Because we need 47, fully manned bases in Iraq many of which only a few miles apart. We also need bases running in Germany and Japan because their tv's and bread are scary. We definitely need to keep funding Israel's military so that they can continue to piss off the rest of the middle east. And without a doubt, we definitely need to keep policing the rest of the world while the rest of NATO plays the role of the fat ugly cheerleader.

Ever heard of a place called Kuwait?

You are the second person today to get the Iraq wars confused. The Persian Gulf War was when we destroyed Iraq's military capability. What was the second war against Iraq for?

You don't stay very well informed do you? It was the GOP that forced the sequestration agreement and that's where the $500 billion in cuts over a decade come into play, in addition to those recommended by the president.

No confusion at all. The Ba'ath party was always a threat to Kuwait. We seized an opportunity to end that threat for good.

Was it a threat to Kuwait or our oil? It wouldn't have been the first time that we favpred worse leaders for the sake of cheap oil

ObamaCare should be repealed in the US, and RomneyCare should be repealed in Massachusetts.

I can't bring myself to vote for either of these candidates.

Wrong, we destroyed Iraq's capability to be a threat to Kuwait in the Persian Gulf War and our 10 years of sanctions prevented them from rebuilding it.

Btw, what does this have to do with the OP???

Why? What is so wrong about providing healthcare? Healthcare holders already pay a higher price because of the lower prices of noncovered people. It would be cheaper for you and i if everybody had health insurance

Good point, Saddam (when he was at his murderous worst) was our ally before he nationalized Iraq oil and kicked big oil out of Iraq.

Exactly. The only reason that he was so powerful was because he ended up with a little American dollar in his back pocket and a little less oil in his barrel. The only reason why he died was because he stopped giving up oil.

Ok. Still Pennota agrees with the cuts in which we were originally talking about. Dont try to cover this up.. And where doees Obama endorse these cuts?

Which if enacted would cut the military almost a trillion dollars...........get a grip.....

Im just pointing out the fallacies in your claim... I know how to do simple math Navy. Your claim the Panneta favors no cuts at all is bull****, and you clearly cant read and comprehend an article correctly.
