Clinton did some stupid ****, but all together he seems to be the most down to earth.

Bush probably is good, but probably different personalities, so unlikely we would bond.

Obama would probably be the mix between the two.

True on the physical aspect. He actually only had 3 stumbling incidents I believe. SNL with Chevy Chase did good parody on it, but he was actually quite fit and agile still while in office. He was one Pres who never had a real ambition to be Pres. It sort of fell onto him. He did right by the country, although had he not pardoned Nixon, I don't think anyone can seriously say that he would have won the 76 election. Its not like pissed of liberals would have changed their vote.

I would say GWB then Clinton, then Obama. Obama's true personality is still somewhat of a mystery and perhaps always will be. Cinton was the ultimate player, and not just with women, but I think with life in general. Deep down though I do believe he is a guy who does relate better to the common man. He never was a beltway boy. I did disgrace the office though. I never believed he should have been impeached.

GWB, he truly is the common man, and while not scholastically brilliant, he played coy with that a bit. Every once in a while a little bit of intellect would pop through. And he could brilliantly read people and connect with them. I think he did truly care about what he was doing in office. He seriously fell into the bubble and got disconnected the last few years of his presidency. I would be willing to bet he regrets a lot of his 2nd term. Too many yes men, and allowing certain people to have too much power in his administration. Overall though, if I had to spend time with one of them, it would be him. I am quite curious as to the true personality of Obama. I'd like to hope he is not a power hungry monster, but I do think he has by far the largest ego of any Pres with exception to LBJ. His ego went beyond ego.

LOL! If you wanted to talk about 3 guys, not presidents, why did you pick the last 3 presidents to talk about? And that changes nothing. I admires less a guy that lie a country into an unnecessary war, than guy a that would lie about smoking weed in his youth and got a BJ by a consenting adult.

I remember hearing at the time that Ford alienated the swing voters and that that cost him the election. Don't know if that's completely true, but it was a common thought at the time.

I do admire him for having the backbone to do what was right for the country over himself (re: Nixon pardon). It probably wasn't technically kosher according to our laws and proclaimed values, but it was best for the country. For that I feel he should be remembered as a good President, even if only for a couple years.

In a round-about way, he cemented Chevy Chase's place in comedic history.

If you claim sexual harassment to be wrong, yet you defend anyone on your side for any reason,
then you are a hypocrite and everything you say on the matter is just babble.

Because they're well known people and it's an interesting to see if people are capable of seperating policy from personality. You, obviously, are not capable of that so your posting here is ridiculous and useless which is no surprise. Like I said, there are many threads on this website where you can bash people for policy.

You brought up Clinton lying about smoking weed in his youth and getting a BJ, how can you now, credibly, disallow discussion of the lies by Bush that resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands of people.

LOL! Are you high? Did you forget how much people HATED W? Do you remember that he basically left the White House through the back door with his head down? Has it not struck how little mention W has gotten since Jan '08? You really thought Bush would be leading as most likeable??? Maybe you and I have a different definition of likable, but damn, Bush is one of the most unlikable dudes in history! An East Coast, Ivy League, borderline alcoholic frat boy who spends Daddy's money? Who of sane mind likes a person like that???

I voted Bush - he's a "been there, done that" type of person, as many of us are. He atoned for his sins, made his mistakes and admitted them. To me, that requires true character.

Clinton - let's just say that what I really don't like is a president who will lie under oath and obstruct justice (just to save his own tail)..... To me, that requires utter LACK of character.

Obama - Likable as a person, annoying (to say the least) as a policymaker.

I just wish we could have someone in the oval office with true character and courage to do the right thing (and not just the popular thing).... Bush comes closest here - at least with Bush, what you saw is what you got. Not much phony about the man.
