    The problem is, Ron Paul is never going to win because of his political position. He just doesn't appeal to a majority of voters. Let's be honest, the only reason to run for office is to win. He will never win.
    There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

    Concur, the only reason to RUN for office is to win. That doesn't mean it makes it a reason to VOTE for a person.

    Yes, I understand that. What I am saying is you shouldn't vote for a candidate because he has "winnability". Of course you want him to win, but assuming he will win shouldn't be the reason you vote for that candidate IMO.
