I'm interested in how you're feeling about this year's election.

Are you pretty sure he'll win or not so much? Vote please!

Undecideds tend to break against the incumbent during hard times, and these are hard times. The EU as we know it is not going to survive the summer, and that's not going to help the times get any better. The Democrat base is depressed. The Republican base isn't thrilled with Romney, but is very excited about firing Obama.

I think there is a solid above-50% chance of an Obama loss, which may or may not be the same thing as a Romney victory.

It's surely possible, but I simply can't see Obama winning if growth and employment continue at this sluggish of a pace.

It seems like Obama has more win possibilities than Romney with about 40 more "safe" electoral votes. Obama had a really strong gorund game last election as well, I'm not expecting that to get any weaker.

I really think it's a toss up. Polls show Romney and Obama pretty much tied. I love RealClearPolitics and I frequent their polling data.

RealClearPolitics - Election 2012 - General Election: Romney vs. Obama
Obama is up by 1.4% as an average of polls. Some polls have him up, some polls have Romney up. This will be a close election and at this point I don't think anyone is guaranteed a win.

For Romney voters only

Do you think Romney can win in November?

Re: For Romney voters only

If the single issue right leaning voters will vote against Obama, even tho they don't like voting for Romney, yes....

Of course he can, the election is almost six months away, although I believe he has a lower chance of winning than Obama.

I am not crazy about Romney myself but because of his moderate stance on the issues I believe he can win in November.....The American people will never elect a far lefty (Obama) or a far righty (Santorum)......Hussein Obama fooled us in 2008, that will not happen again............

I wonder what makes you think that?

Re: For Romney voters only

With Ron Paul still in the race, he wil surely suck Independent & Conservative votes away from Romney.

Handsome (Hussein) Obama is most likely going to win in November.

Obama has more safe electoral votes than Romney at this point. He already showed he is an excellent campaigner, especially in bringing out grassroots voters. He also has a significant amount of money to spend. It's definitely not impossible for Romney to win, I just think it's more likely he'll lose.

the fact is, that Romney is not considered a real Conservative, while R Paul is.

Handsome (Hussein) Obama will most likely win again, because Paul will take votes away from Romney.

It looks like four more years of Handsome (Hussein) Obama.

I think your wrong..........I believe the American people have long memories.......They remember the lies and the broken promises from 2008.........It was obvious from the 2006 elections that the country wanted change, well they got it the wrong change.......Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.......

I don't think it really works that way. If Obama can explain everything away in eloquent speeches and 30 second advertisements he'll probably win again. If Romney can do a better job at that than Obama he'll win, although Obama starts with a built in advantage in the electoral college.

Well that's because Ron Paul is actually a conservative whereas Romney is a RINO

Your wrong........You wish that it would but it won't happen......Paul is done.......stick a fork in him........your right he knows if he runs it will take crucial votes away from Romney as Perot did in 1992 against Bush1.........

Like I said it worked before but it won't work again........Romney a RINO is the perfect candidate........His beliefs on the issues is where the people are........I think it is way to early to count Electoral votes, especially in states like Minn, NC, Fla, and Ohio all states that Hussein Obama carried in 2008 that he can very easily lose in 2012 for the SSM issue alone...........People are pissed over this.

Re: For Romney voters only

I wouldn't call 6 years a long memory. Perhaps selective works better? The is more to a candidate than his personal view. He represents his party and it's platform. Rather than say Obama 'fooled' anyone more to the point is America was so sickened by the Republicans under BushII they wanted ANYONE but him. (bet even Gore could have won in '08 :2razz: )

Will be interesting if Willard can convince 51% of the people he won't run the country like it is a takeover company by Baine.:2razz:

It is going to be interesting.

Selective is likely right. For if the American people had good long term memory, they'd remember the Bush administration.

Re: For Romney voters only

His beliefs on the issues is where the people are

That's only because he changes his answers to suit the crowd. Didn't y'all yell at Clinton a lot for doing **** like that?
