Polls...now...months out from the election. Essentially worthless. While Romney may be doing better in terms of the POLLS right now, I think the overall chances of who actually wins leans slightly in Obama's favor.

Polls don't determine elections. Especially polls months out from it.

Also, my 55% Obama 45% Romney wasn't my thought about results but my level of confidence or view on the chances of each. If you asked me who would win right now, I'd say I think Obama slightly more than I think Romney but ultimately it's pretty much a toss up.

It seems as if this election is Obama's to lose, and he keeps doing things that decrease his chances of winning.

It is noted that people on this form that are not and never going to vote for Romney have voted in the OP poll, ignoring the thread title/request.

I'm not thrill about Romney because I think he is weak on conservatism, and the issue of Obamacare. This will play against him during the election. A slightly positive side is that the election will be about Obama more than Romney.

I agree with you Romney is no Conservative but he is 1000 times better the Hussein Obama............So even though I will vote for Romney it is actually a vote against Hussein Obama....We must get that incompetent out of office.......

I would not go as far as to say they are worthless......They give us some kind of Idea of what people are thinking and something for us political junkies to kick around.

And you still are calling Obama your pretty boy. I find that fascinating.

    Re: For Romney voters only

I think it's more likely than not that Romney will win. Virtually all conservatives except myself will vote for him because they desperately want President Obama out of office. I think most Independents will break Romney's way because they realize the country is on the road to no where. And even some liberals will vote for Romney because they realize he's Obama lite. I like Gary Johnson...but that's because I feel there is no longer anything to lose by voting as a matter of principle.

Considering the fact that Obama is a communist, and given the activities of his minions (ACORN and other useful idiots willing to break the law to win), I'm sure Obama subscribes to the philosophy of another communist dictator (Joseph Stalin).

In a fair election, I think Romney would win decisively, but this will NOT be a fair election. There was voter fraud in 2008, and they will be going for broke this time.

Would you like to back that up?

    Then there's this...

    Who

The GOP voter-fraud vendetta might have remained exactly where Bush loyalists wanted it—below the radar of the press—had it not been for the scandal surrounding the firing of eight U. S. attorneys, including David C. Iglesias of New Mexico. Iglesias lost his job in December 2005 after he declined to prosecute a voter-fraud case against ACORN, which had been registering large numbers of voters in the state’s low-income and largely minority neighborhoods in 2004. Prominent New Mexico Republicans, including U.S. Senator Pete Domenici, had repeatedly complained to chief White House political strategist Karl Rove about Iglesias’ failure to bring voter-fraud indictments. Once Iglesias said he couldn’t prove a case against ACORN, his days were numbered.

ACORN became a target because of its successful voter-registration work. As the 2004 election approached, then-Attorney-General John Ashcroft launched a broad initiative to crack down on supposed voter fraud in battleground states, including Florida, Missouri, Ohio, and New Mexico, where ACORN was making headway registering voters. In all of those states, Republicans filed suits against ACORN for voter fraud, and, in every case, ACORN was exonerated.

The only way a Republican can actually win is to win by enough votes that the votes of the dead, felons and those pulled out of a wastebasket won't count......
