And I'd still say that is too far. All of those things are perfectly valid sexual acts, and they need to be discussed in sex ed.

 Perhaps. My point is that the Gov is not quite the anti-hugging anti-kissing buffoon he's being made out to be, because people are taking a comedian's spoof as something the Governor actually said.

That's valid, still the underlying point of the joke rings true.

It takes a twisted mind to not only fear sex this much, but to fear all contact between people. It's really only our American insecurity over sex that makes us equate any touching with a "gateway" to sex. We are so insecure about it that we cannot see any way to be physical with each other without being sexual. Less repressed cultures don't equate the two. Does anyone really only ever hug or kiss someone they intend to sleep with? To suggest that there is no valid human contact that isn't sexual is just plain absurd.

Yeah - I agree.

This is the fear / issue that some other countries have and therefor they support pre-arranged and child marriages to avoid this whole 'thing' here. . . I'm afraid some people are going to go *that* extreme.

Or like the people of Vaahl on Star Trek who were forbidden physical contact and 'replications' - seriously. . . geesh.

Total toolbox for sure. But why stop at kissing and hugging? talking to the opposite sex can lead to hugging and kissing. Wait, eye contact leads to talking. Wait, vicinity leads to eye contact, which leads to talking, which leads to hugging and kissing.

10 to 1 these clowns are closeted and hate themselves, hate women and can't deal with it at all.
Some religions have this all figured out. Some better than others. And all you have to do is check on how they advise on how to treat women.

The far right conservative claim they believe in smaller government (of course no proof of that) but it would take at least an agency 50% of the entire population to monitor and control human sexual behaviors.

The Christiban is truly engaging in a religious jihad right here in the good old USA. They are fighting to maintain moral control and force our nation to return to dark age mentality.

Repent you sinners!

I see that this is supposed to be kind of a funny thread; but, in the State of West Michigan, a very socially conservative state, they has discovered something about their teen birth rates. They are among the highest in the nation.

I wonder what Tennessee is going to discover with their new law. No, actually I don't wonder. What is it when the obvious solution is proven to be incorrect over an over, but it's applied over and over? (This even happens in design engineering.)
