Pro-life, but hasn't there been a bunch of very similar topics like this lately? We have an entire subforum dedicated to it.

My position is complicated. I believe that the fetus is a person due the rights of any human adult. When fetuses are unwelcome in the mother's uterus, they can be evicted, but not directly killed.

*sigh* There's a reason we have an entire subforum devoted to this issue... why is it now constantly seeping into the rest of the forum?

Neither. Im a ice cold baby killer

I believe elective abortion should be legal up til 20 weeks gestation. After that abortion should only be allowed if the mother's life or health is in serious danger, or the fetus is not viable. That makes me pro choice, though not as pro choice as some.

You do know my left wing friend its a free country......If you don't like this poll then ignore it......thank you

I'm pro-life. I think abortion is the biggest injustice of our society and I feel very strongly about the issue.

I reject the terms Pro-life and Pro-choice as being inaccurate spin.

I reject the terms Pro-life and Pro-choice as being inaccurate spin.

That's how each group has labeled themselves to give their beliefs more of a positive tone in my opinion.

The honest answer would be probably "neither" or "somewhere in between."

I am pro women's reproductive rights, I don't see that as being "pro-choice." I didn't vote in the poll.

Im pro choice based on the reality of the situation.

1 its none of my business to make this choice for other people
2 I will not take away the current freedoms, rights and liberties of women
3 I could support forcing a women to go through pregnancy and labor risking her life against her will
4 EVen if I personally wouldnt have one I would never force my views on others
5 abortion laws are currently very fair and about as middle of the road as you can get, maybe a better national cap at 18-20 weeks
6 If abortion was illegal and personhood was granted at conception things would be worse. Education and technology is the way to go not force and the stripping of rights and freedoms.

I'm for life and for choice.

Can we get a more specific question?

So how long until NP starts claiming everyone on the thread is out of touch, just because it's not going his way?

As long as your parents support you, they should, within reason, have the right to abort you.

If my parents had this option, there's a fair chance I wouldn't be here to post this. I was born so low vision that they though I was retarded for the first 2 years of my life. Some people still think I'm retarded but I say pish and tosh.

I'm kind of fond of Pro-baby-murder and Pro-female-slavery.

Touche, good sir! I was trying to figure a good way to get two pro- terms in there. And pro-baby-murder just gets the point across so much clearer.

I'm anti-abortion. I'll vote pro-life for purposes of the poll, but pro-life and pro-choice remain dumb terms.

How about pro abortion and anti abortion?

That is even worse. Would you accept pro-rights and anti-rights? That is about what you did here.

There we go. We have our new propaganda terms for the abortion debate. I guess that makes me pro-female-slavery. We should go back to how it was in the 50's. When men were men and women were property. hehehe
