Hell man, I would't want to live in a white neighborhood, or any other neighborhood. I get plenty of contact with other people, and hear plenty of noise when I'm at work.

It would depend on the socio-economic demographics and quality of schools -- just as anywhere I'd choose to live. The ethnic or racial make-up of the community wouldn't make any difference.

I live in a neighborhood, were there are a lot of black people.
I don't really care and neither do they.

Everyone, more or less, leaves everyone else alone.

Hell I'd prefer not to live in any neighborhood really.
My plans for our next home involve, not living in a neighborhood.
    I like more privacy.
I was discovering that life just simply isn't fair and bask in the unsung glory of knowing that each obstacle overcome along the way only adds to the satisfaction in the end. Nothing great, after all, was ever accomplished by anyone sulking in his or her misery.

The school in Mississippi gave me pause. ANytime I asked about it, the answer was "we hope it gets better."

But I did answer the question. I have lived in a predominantly African American neighborhood and I would live in the same one again. Nothing bad happened to me, no one treated me any different. There are some neighborhoods that I would not want to live in, but it still does not change the fact I have lived in some and would do so again.

On the list of things I look for in a place to live, the race of the neighbors is not on the list.
