I believe the part you are omitting is "I don't think I have changed."

Well you have to admit it's pretty childish to speculate on what a guy who has been very quiet about the mess his brother left, what the nation needs going forward and what he thinks the federal government can do to help might do 4 years from now. Sort of a beauty contest done in the dark and no you can't feel em up.

I realize some partisans don't care about facts, anyone from their team is better than anyone from any other. But it is something drones do, vote years ahead of any chance of an actual election.

The whole which party's guy has pooped more in public thing is moronic, but somewhat entertaining. Like watching South Park after drinking too much Nyquil.

So let me understand you don't have a problem with Clinton getting BJs in the oval office with his wife in the other room or lying to a federal judge under oath?

Based solely on his statements over the past couple of years, I would never vote for him, regardless of who his family is. He just doesn't support the things I think ought to be supported and he certainly doesn't talk traditional, pre-neo-con conservatism.
I wonder if you have a link for that lie?

Jeb Bush: 2012 GOP Field "Appealing to People's Fears" - Fox News

Cephus misread it. Jeb says he hasn't changed, but feels the party around him had in terms of rhetoric, but essentially, in message, he agrees with the principles espoused by the GOP in general, and the candidates. What happened is that Jeb had implied that others are looking at conservatives like him and suggesting that they aren't conservative, or not conservative enough because they reject the rhetoric that Jeb feels is too based on emotions of fear.

Again, Jeb Bush's statement in context means that, as a conservative, he was questioning whether or not the rhetorical strategy employed recently were for the best of the conservative movement. The "used to be" implies that it has become taboo in the party to question the strategy.

You grow up and Nixon resigned in disgrace. Why didn't Clinton do that?

No. No more Bush's, no more Clinton's. We've had enough. Go with Condi.

AUSTAN GOOLSBEE: I think the world vests too much power, certainly in the president, probably in Washington in general for its influence on the economy, because most all of the economy has nothing to do with the government.

Why in the hell would anyone want another ruling dynasty? I didn't/don't like it with the Kennedy's, I won't like it with the Clintons, I didn't/don't like it with the Bushes. The idea is reeks of intellectual laziness. There is no political gene. No American family has innate political skills that exceed that of most Americans. In fact, it is foolish and indeed dangerous to permit families to have that level of concentrated political power.

Vote for Jeb Bush? Hell, no. I would never vote for the any person in a similar situation.
