"Hillary Clinton is pretty cool, and essentially cemented that image when the Texts From Hillary meme caught on. Over the weekend, she only reinforced it when she was photographed sipping cerveza and dancing at Cafe Havana in Cartagena, Colombia where she attended the Summit of the Americas."

If it's cool for Bush to do tribal African dances, then I have no problem with Hillary winding down a bit.
Nobody who wins a war indulges in a bifurcated definition of victory. War is a political act; victory and defeat have meaning only in political terms. A country incapable of achieving its political objectives at an acceptable cost is losing the war, regardless of battlefield events.

Bifurcating victory (e.g. winning militarily, losing politically) is a useful salve for defeated armies. The "stab in the back" narrative helped take the sting out of failure for German generals after WWI and their American counterparts after Vietnam.

All the same, it's nonsense. To paraphrase Vince Lombardi, show me a political loser, and I'll show you a loser.

The Secretary of State drinking a beer and dancing is news-worthy? Is this country retarded?

Not necessarily, simply a byproduct of the 24 hour newstainment cycle.

OMG- glad I missed that, as we all know that white men can't dance.

However, speaking of white men not being able to dance, the above performance was far superior to this one, which, if I may be frank, is just plain embarrassing.
