You don't get rid of anti gun fascism by ending up with cold dead hands. You stop it by making the gun grabbers' hands cold and dead

I would hope that hindsight would have changed enough minds to keep that horses ass from a second term.

The only difference being Obama is much smarter than Bush.
that has never been proven. Lanny Davis-a Yale Law Grad and Clinton white house counsel said Bush is very bright and called him a genius in getting along with people and understanding how people work and what motivates them.

Gore and Kerry continue to prove that Bush was the better choice.

Re: If you could go back in time to 2004 would you still vote for Bush?

Personally I think the better question would be Bush v Gore.
Nobody who wins a war indulges in a bifurcated definition of victory. War is a political act; victory and defeat have meaning only in political terms. A country incapable of achieving its political objectives at an acceptable cost is losing the war, regardless of battlefield events.

Bifurcating victory (e.g. winning militarily, losing politically) is a useful salve for defeated armies. The "stab in the back" narrative helped take the sting out of failure for German generals after WWI and their American counterparts after Vietnam.

All the same, it's nonsense. To paraphrase Vince Lombardi, show me a political loser, and I'll show you a loser.

Maybe but given what a Pimp Gore has become (people whine about Romney being a flip flopper, they ought to see Gore's ratings on various issues as a senator vs as a member of the clinton administration and then as a candidate) in terms of making millions of off being an enviro-snake oil salesman (that his mansion emits more "carbon" then most small businesses or subdivisions is a clue) Bush was obviously the right choice

Whether you're right or not, I don't think that has any bearing on his ability to perform as Commander in Chief. That's my $0.02.
