Honestly - because he is in his mind. How do you know what Zimmerman thinks?
Shhh - don't tell anyone his secret.
Honestly - because he is in his mind. How do you know what Zimmerman thinks?
You said "Well zimmerman seems to think he will walk because of stand your ground then be free of civil suit too." I asked you "How do you know what Zimmerman thinks?" and the above is the response you give? what does one have to do with the other? Can you answer the question: How do you know what Zimmerman thinks?
Zimmerman stalked and went after an unarmed minor. He is a murdering wana be Rambo.
Was Martin's father there?Link to tapes and interview with the father of Martin.
Self Description? Why do you keep saying that. Officers responded and observed his condition and noted it in their report. There are links to the report all over this debate site and Im not digging it up for you.Question ... it was a crime scene ... Was the blood on Zimmerman his own or splatters from the GSW in Traebons chest and did they take a sample for an easy lab test?
Was forensic evidence taken from the site?
Did they document any injuries beyond Zimmerman's self description?
There are some discrepancies as to who is yelling help. Trayvon's father said it wasn't Trayvon to the police. But then after this media ****storm blew up, he says it was. Hmm..The parents are distraught as they hear Traevon being followed and he was almost back to the condo where his father was watching a basketball game. The second tape they hear Traevon yelling for help. It sounds like a young black male yelling and stops immediately after the gun shot. A forensic voice expert should be able to determine whose voice for certain is yelling.
1. He wanted to keep an eye on the kid because he wanted to point out where the kid was to responding officer. Why did Zimmerman continue to pursue and why did he not immediately ask for medical assistance?
See above.I worked ED for 14+ years and law abiding citizens would call for medical help yet Zimmerman did not. Despite epinephrine ... law abiding citizens usually call for medical assistance when it is needed. In some states that neglectful act could be viewed as criminal.
Either you are being dishonest or you have been duped by the left wing propaganda machine that repeatedly shows you Martin's outdated 6th grade school picture.I find it very hard to believe that Zimmerman got his ass handed to him by a 13 year old kid, which makes this even a more horrible crime because zimmerman knew he shot a child when he got a close look at him.
Treyvon Martin, 17, 6'3" 150 lbs: George Zimmerman, 28, 5'9" aprox 240 lbs, (and out of breath from running 10 seconds)Either you are being dishonest or you have been duped by the left wing propaganda machine that repeatedly shows you Martin's outdated 6th grade school picture.
Martin was a 17 year old athlete, not that little kid that the leftstream media keeps showing you.
In a SYGL country you are not required to run; you're just required to carry a gun. Martin screwed up because he wasn't armed.Treyvon Martin, 17, 6'3" 150 lbs: George Zimmerman, 28, 5'9" aprox 240 lbs, (and out of breath from running 10 seconds)
Treyvon could have outrun Zimmerman, at any time, if he felt threatened.
Oh really. Is he the King of Florida? Please explain to someone of mean intelligence how the Gov got the law changed through the state legislature before the Zimmerman used it.Where are y'all getting this old news???
Jeb Bush disallowed the SYGL on this case, days ago...
Florida Gov. Jeb Bush Says ‘Stand Your Ground’ Law Doesn’t Apply to Trayvon Martin Shooting
This case has little to do with stand your ground at all.
This is about self-defense. Which has existed since the beginning of law itself.
Oh really. Is he the King of Florida? Please explain to someone of mean intelligence how the Gov got the law changed through the state legislature before the Zimmerman used it.
My position is that the SYGL makes Florida kind of a foreign country.
I don't really care what he thinks.
Martin knew he was being followed according to the girl he was talking to on the phone.Has anyone thought about at which point in time Martin and Zimmerman got close enough to each other
for a physical confrontation to occur?
I don't see Zimmerman catching up to Martin, or cornering him.
The only way I see this happening, is that Martin approached Zimmerman.
Martin knew he was being followed according to the girl he was talking to on the phone.
Knowing that he was being followed, apparently Martin briskly walked behind the residence and waited for Zimmerman to come around the corner and then confronted him.
Some would say that Martin lured him back there and waited. He knew he was being followed and ambushed him.
I agree. Given that Zimmerman chased after Martin first I'd expect Martin to approach Zimmerman. When I was 17 that is what I would have done and I haven't changed. And if Zimmerman did anything physical to me there would be a fight. However, in a SYGL country I'd have to carry a gun. If I was being followed in a SYGL country by Zimmerman and I turned to assess and approach who was following me I'd have my gun in hand but hidden. How about anyone else? Remember, in a SYGL you are essentially required to carry a gun. The mistake that Martin made was not carrying a gun. That's the fairness of the SYGL, carry a gun and everything is fair. And the police have less to do.Has anyone thought about at which point in time Martin and Zimmerman got close enough to each other for a physical confrontation to occur?

'Way to boil down a complex situation into a single frame cartoon and ignore half the evidence, bravo.
In a SYGL country you are not required to run; you're just required to carry a gun. Martin screwed up because he wasn't armed.
In a nonSYGL country where I grew up if I was being followed as Martin was I'd confront him. If the follower did anything physical to me there would be a fight.
Which blows to hell any ridiculous claim that the kid confronted Z.
How do you know this? Please, present your evidence that the police did not attempt to find out how the fight started. But there was no interest in real self-defense by the police. No attempt to find out how the fight started.
What physically assertive actions did you witness sir? With Zimmerman following Martin outside his property and taking a physically assertive actions,
People who kill others in self defense often do it with a gun. People who observed possible criminals to help and assist the police might want to carry a gun on them while doing so, in case the person they are observing attacks. WyTF Do you think security guards often carry guns (some don't I know, so don't derail)carrying a gun, self-defense defense in court wouldn't work.
I just freaking said in the post you responded to that this is NOT a SYG defense! Zimmerman's attorney also said this. Why are you still hung up on SYG!With their SYGL self-defense defense is not necessary as you will not even be arrested.
See above. An additional issue with the SYGL is: does it matter if Zimmerman started the physical confrontation between them although he was later loosing the fight (until Martin stopped). In this particular case the SYGL may support Zimmerman even if he started the fight he was loosing.

talk about your wild speculation!!!!!

The attorney counseling George Zimmerman, who shot unarmed black teenager Trayvon Martin as he was walking home from the store with a bag of Skittles, says if charges are filed, Zimmerman will argue that he acted in self-defense and that Florida's stand-your-ground law applies. [....]

On February 26th, the night Martin was killed, police questioned Zimmerman for five hours at police headquarters. The police report noted Zimmerman was "bleeding from the nose and the back of the head." [Karl: nosebleed, okay; broken nose, unlikely] [...] Police did not administer a drug and alcohol test or an immediate background check on Zimmerman, although they did both on Martin.
The next day, detectives re-enacted the shooting with Zimmerman at the scene. They also discovered Zimmerman had two prior arrests: one for assaulting a cop, the other for domestic abuse. For the next two weeks, lead investigator Chris Serino pursued a manslaughter charge against Zimmerman. Police interviewed at least six witnesses. But none of them saw how the confrontation began or the shooting that ended it. Public pressure grew. On March 12, police gave the case to State Attorney Norm Wolfinger. He told them they needed more evidence to arrest Zimmerman. [...]
