Can we all agree that Al Sharpton is a race-baiting bigot who stirs up racial tension as a profession?

I do not like either one. I have not put enough time nor effort into thinking about it to rate them, nor do I think it is particularly helpful to do so.

That didn't answer the question. You stated that "it was high praise," and mused on Limbaugh not being as bad as Sharpton.

So, that makes one wonder.

We know you've said you don't like either, yet I want to know if you think L is worse than S. You make it seem, a bit, that Sharpton is better than L. Why?

Just mildly curious.

You are creating something that is not there. I think Sharpton is a complete and total ass. I love the show Hardball, think it is one of the better political talk shows around. If I watch the 5 pm edition, Sharpton is on right after. I will literally change channel a hair early just to make sure that Sharpton never gets to count me in his ratings. Is Limbaugh better, worse, the same? I do not know nor do I care. Limbaugh is also a complete and total ass. What more do I need to know. It's not some competition as to who is the bigger ass.

I realize you got to try and make some partisan hack point, but I am not playing. Race, racism, racial politics, race baiting, these are not to my mind partisan issues. This is where you and I differ. I am not going to play race for political gains.

(2) Alright, I'll overlook your original statement that made it seem, somewhat, that Limbaugh was worse than Sharpton.

(3) No. You are experiencing the kind of crazy insinuations I experienced. There is no partisan hackery. If you think I'm a hack then prove it; see, doesn't it suck being accused of being a hack when you're obviously not? Some were far too quick to start calling me a hack which I'm not. How many partisan hacks have aspects of every single ideology, and reason there are two sides to every coin?

there is a fine line between race-baiting, and racial stereotypes.

I believe his avatar, sig., and various other statements on this issue, add up to racial stereotyping....aka racism.

racial stereotyping, such as that blacks are lazy, Jews are greedy, Asians are stingy, or Hispanics are all gang-members, is indeed racism.

What about racial stereotyping that blacks have bigger dicks and are better athletes. Is that racist too? Notice what all your examples have in common. Hint: it is not just that they are stereotypes.

Racial stereotyping is not always racism. If I said all Jews are greedy, it is an untrue blanket statement, but has nothing to do with hating Jews or me thinking I am superior because of my race.
