Well, let's not go too far.

Was merely pointing out a flaw in your logic.
Nobody who wins a war indulges in a bifurcated definition of victory. War is a political act; victory and defeat have meaning only in political terms. A country incapable of achieving its political objectives at an acceptable cost is losing the war, regardless of battlefield events.

Bifurcating victory (e.g. winning militarily, losing politically) is a useful salve for defeated armies. The "stab in the back" narrative helped take the sting out of failure for German generals after WWI and their American counterparts after Vietnam.

All the same, it's nonsense. To paraphrase Vince Lombardi, show me a political loser, and I'll show you a loser.

There are right-wing hacks and left-wing hacks, and undoubtedly hacks from socialism and communism to capitalism and fascism.

A partisan hack is one who doesn't consider both sides of the issue, and stubbornly clings to most of one side. That makes me no partisan hack.

Limbaugh is a choir boy compared to Sharpton.......You don't see him rushing to a place where and incident happened and stirring up the pot......And don't say he has a radio show to do it.......So does Sharpton.....

No, he's not a rascist, but wherever there is a pimple of racism, he will develop it into an exploding volcano of racist vitriol and black on white animosity. Must make his mother proud. Don't you think?

I think more liberals play the race card than conservatives.
Conservatives play the race card race card. Any time race is mentioned as a factor in anything, you can count on conservatives playing the race card race card.

I think you meant the race card card. I mentioned this above already.

And then you see liberals like yourself playing the race card card card, and so forth.

    Reminded me of this:

start at about 3:20 for the Al Sharpton part, or watch the whole clip for the context.
