I saw this recently and think it's apt:
Especially when you combine with the argument that if government pays for your health care, then it gets a say in how you live your life. Most people who would make that argument would also be taking the hypocritical stance illustrated in the pic.
As for the poll question, Goshin said what needed to be said.
2001-2008: Dissent is the highest form of patriotism.
2009-2016: Dissent is the highest form of racism.
2017-? (Probably): Dissent is the highest form of misogyny.
Nobody should have control over anyone else's body in the manner of which you are using an example of (the OP). Period.
Nice to see who the men are who feel threatened by the prospect of women controlling their own health issues and reproductive systems...
Who is demanding the government pay for abortions and birth control??
Let's keep in mind, not only can't a ZEF (not a "preborn" - even if left to nature chances are fairly high that it will never be born) consent to being aborted, but it also can't consent to being born. What makes forcing one thing on it so much better than the other? And why should this absence of consent over-rule the valid consent of an actual living person whose body it forced itself upon?
And Goshin, actually men and women aren't similarly distributed on this issue. Men are more likely to be anti-choice than women. Women are also underrepresented in government.
