Not sure I follow. Most liberals think that conservatives are too Christian.

The point I was trying to make, if you don't like it, is that you shouldn't be able to fling around, "He's not a Christian," in a debate and for it to be an insult and a political point as well.

Good poll ... I do not have any blind faith beliefs (although I am not atheist) so I did not vote; yet it was interesting to view how people voted.

Another thought ... would posters vote for POTUS who was driven strongly by his blind faith belief in the supernatural and despite whatever he said during the election on issues he/she conveyed this religious belief was foundational in his decision process?

I only care to vote for prospective candidates that share my social beliefs.

If none of them share my beliefs, then I'm under no obligation to vote for them. If Santorum is out of the race then it'll probably mean that I won't be voting again.

You're equating "Christian values" to "everything in the Bible," which is a stretch, but I will say that the message of the Bible is good.

Re: Vote for an atheist president (for religious people)

A presidents religious beliefs are absolutely meaningless to me as long as he can separate them from the reality of america. As long as he realizes HIS religion doesnt trump the rights, freedoms and liberties of americans.

If he can't do that then it matters immensely and i would never vote for him but not directly because of his religion it would be because he has no clue how to be president.

How can "Christian values" and the bible be a stretch? Seriously just a few posts a go you said: "Christian values are good." If those values did not come from the bible, where did they come from?
