As a black man, it's a bit offensive how people equate gay marriage to interracial marriage. Obviously, they are quite different. As for my general opinion on homosexuality, it's a sin, and people will be judged after death on the White Throne Judgement. It's not a major sin like murder, but it's a sin seculars/"secular Christians" try to sweep under the rug. Should they be wrong, they doom many from entrance into Heaven. Imo the world serves as a testing ground to test our faith and dedication to the Scripture over the temptations of the world.

"As a black man"? Miscegation laws didn't prohibt just blacks from marrying any other race. It also stopped whites from marrying any other race. Indians from marrying any other race. Etc etc etc. It has nothing to do with peoples skin color. It has everything to do with a civil rights issue.

Also there is NOTHING in the bible about two people of the same sex marrying each other. It just says that "man shall not lie with another man as with a woman" or some such.

I think it is offensive that some members of an oppressed group cannot see the obvious similarities. Yes, there are differences, but there is far more that is similar. The most important aspect, two people who want to share their lives unable to facilitate that through a legal contract available to others, is 99% of the issue. Gay people have vastly more to be offended about when a black person says they are offended, than the black person had to be offended about to begin with.

Black people have no more right to civil rights than gay people. If you find that to be offensive, the problem is in you.
