Yeah bp doesn't have a MAJOR accident but every seven years in average? I live in Houston. In the last 7 we have had an oil spill the gulf and two refinery expositions where people died. All from BP.

I don't blame Nebraska for wanting additional time to study rerouting it around underground water supplies. Makes damn good sense to me!

The shame, that pipeline couldve made a handful of multibillionaires more multibillions with delicious rich man tricklings for all of us.

We could also do something insanely radical like not buying a redundant set of 4-5 fighter jets to vaporise ants from the sky into slightly thinner vapors and send half a million people to college.

Considerations about what is best for the country in the long term, why that is un-American Sir!!!

Oh hell yeah. Let's just get rid of all our military and just send everybody to Harvard in a new Chevy Volt. I'm sure we would be fine on Obama's charm alone.

I said... not buy 4-5 new redundant jets
and send 100,000 kids to college.

We never needed the jets we were just redistributing money to arms manufacturers. I actually remember when we didnt spend like 14 billion on like 5 redundant jets and then republican congress went nuts.

The property owners whose properties are under threat of being taken away with eminent domain are the ones who will greatly benefit with this blocking the keystone oil pipeline. No private company should ever be allowed to use eminent domain especially a foreign owned company.

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

    Cicero Marcus Tullius
