Since it appears polls are to be done from specific directions on Abortion topic, this then seems appropriate. This, pick the poll worded for your side of the issue.

I want to do a poll asking if 10 abortion treads at once is better than one.

I vote in favor of being tired of hearing about abortions. There are so many more important issues facing our nation.

Why not? Be sure to NOT post it on the Abortion board too.

Could a moderator mix the questions? They don't help.

I wonder what the dialog would be if most of us in this forum had been aborted. Now that would make a good poll.

Enough abortion threads already. They are not skillfully constructed or very useful.

The questions in this poll are just as divisive as any other. The pro-life view pregnancy as a choice and therefore nothing is being forced. I disagree with that assessment, but I cannot deny that the poll misrepresents them.

Making an extreme poll to counteract another extreme poll just leaves us with two useless extremities. Next time you make a thread on abortion, try to make it useful.

Are you trying to imply that this thread should be aborted?

Both.

Not possible, you say?

Well, you've been proved wrong.

Especially since it's been settled law for almost three decades and shows no signs of changing.

I agree with the consensus, that two biased, inflammatory threads on Abortion should both be removed and put in more appropriate... places.

I don't believe in aborting men or women.

for those on the "choice" side, certainly. those of us on the "life" side don't get that luxury if we wish to retain honesty.

This is no way to discuss abortion rights to any useful end. All this does is ridicule and demean....and that's what was wrong with the OTHER poll. There are at least a thousand different scenarios in which abortion could be considered, probably more. What any of US would do is irrelevant to them all.

What matters....ALL that matters...is what the woman would do. Her ethics, her body, her decision.

We do not need a poll to help any woman decide -- and I doubt one would help a single person in these terrible circumstances.

I think these poll questions were written by the people who write the stuff far lefties post proving most americans want massive tax hikes and think Obama is God

Once pregnant, I favor forcing women to have children against her wishes, unless the pregnancy endangers the woman's life or will cause serious physical harm.

Do you favor abortion being legal until the baby is actually born? If the mother has been pregnant for 6-9 months, should she be allowed to legally abort her child for what ever reason she chooses? Do you think there is a cut off date for abortion?

Once a women becomes pregnant I do support forcing her to carry her child. After she gives birth to that child and she is still adamant about not wanting a child then she can drop the baby off at a hospital in a state with a safe haven law so that there will be no questions asked or give the child up for adoption. Either the state will take take care and raise her child or someone will adopt that child. After the father has been identified and dna tested I support the state going after the him to recoup half the costs of the mother's pregnancy(half of the medical bills, extra food, maternity clothes, loss of income if the mothers job does not provide paid maternity leave and any other costs associated with pregnancy) after all it takes two to tango. If the mother paid for all these things out of her pocket then the state gives her the money,if she used public assistance then the state keeps it and what ever difference is left goes to the mother. This would make men think twice before engaging in recreational sex.

Lucky 12 year old raped by her step-father. Don't you also favor throwing away the child after birth? You did say you would if it was your wife. Right? No burdens on me! - that's your slogan. Or am I mistaken?

I understand that you, like some many "pro-lifers", favor dumping newborn babies off on society and the taxpayers.

Giving birth to babies for the purpose of them throwing that baby away somewhere is evil, as evil as it gets.

I have no problem prohibiting abortion when a ZEF becomes independently life viable.

That should be pro-life's chant: "THROW BABIES AWAY! THROW BABIES AWAY!"

I think it's more that they (and myself to an extent) consider the life of the child important enough that we would rather it be put up for adoption and not aborted.

Of course, that depends how you define “life”…whole other argument, but fairly key…

Seeing how you are just babbling nonsense I see that you a too chicken **** to actually answer the question even though I answered your question and picked a poll option.

That is a broad statement.Does that mean you support abortion all the way until the baby is born or until the baby in the womb is at least 40-50% viable?
