Whilst homosexuals and human-rights activists are demanding same-sex marriages to be recognized in the West or are busy condemning any sort of criticism (regardless of how legitimate it may be) of Islam, the ignored homosexuals of the Islamic East are left fighting for even the most basic of human rights, and in many cases, their very lives.

Authoritarians need not be conservatives. They just want to impose control and force their ideology on the population or just plain make themselves powerful - to that end, I think they are the most willing to take lives. History has shown that authoritarian (of all flavours: communists, socialist, fascist, religious, greedy) have shed the most blood.

The FBI investigates terrorist threats and actions, foreign and domestic, and environmental activists just happen to be on that list, because they have destroyed property and made threats.

If I were my fathers age, say, in Germany during the 30s....then more than likely... death...

What's really funny about this poll and topic. People in America think they've somehow escaped brainwashing-propaganda tactics by political machines and government.

It's taken 250 years to divide America into three (3) political countries (Conservative America, Liberal America, and Centralist America)...but they finally have.Which one of those American countries are you willing to die for?

You really think that only the old Soviet Union, North Korea, China and the like are the masters of mind ****ing their citizens?

Anybody who is defined by one-issue, whether it be the protection if Israel, the elimination of Judaism, banning abortion, or saving the whales. People who will kill for a cause generally don't pay attention to anything other than that cause.

Of the groups listed, I would say communists and anarchists, because they are the farthest from the status quo and from having a majority, so to implement their vision would likely require violence.

I said nothing about surrender. We have to face the fact that our government and political machines have, can, and will be just as ruthless in so many ways as countries we claim to be virtually evil. If we believe that the American government has not engaged in propaganda and created the delusions, illusions, and blatant distortions about us having the GREATEST GOVERNMENT on EARTH...then we're screwed.

The values and moral compass of our government has gone down the tubes. The failure to come clean with their allegiance to special interests over the public at large...tells us that We The People have lost control over the underlying intent of how government should be as stated in Declaration of Independence, which is:

That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

We must realize that the Declaration isn't a lawful document in which its tenets were incorporated into the Constitution. But what it does remind us is that WE THE GOVERNED are Constitutionally the power over THE GOVERNORS.

It's time that we RETHINK our shortcomings that have lost the American people's right to Govern the Governors.

But the chances of taking on the tasks of bringing back government down to the level of being public servants is not likely because the Governors have divided Americans citizens into three separate factions that refuse to look at who our real nemesis is. Our political machines and standing government.
 
I picked the groups at the extreme ends of the spectrum - communists, authoritarians and anarchists. Moderates are almost by definition least likely to die for their views...
