Thought experiment curiosity I want to satisfy here. If you could only choose between Romney or Paul in the Republican primary, which of them would you support?

I've never had to do this (in the 2 whole elections I was eligible to vote in), but I'd wince the entire way through voting for Romney in the general. There is something about the man that just doesn't sit right with me, and I don't like him. Then again, I don't like Obama's spoken stance or the manner in which he seeks to bring about "change"...or really the "change" he's trying to bring about itself.

So, between Romney and Paul, I go Paul. I feel like he's less likely to override or circumvent the legislature when he doesn't get his way, and I feel he's more up front about what he wants and where he wants the country to go...so though I might disagree with some of his platforms, I respect that he'll adhere to the limitations of the office and be honest with the American people whenever possible.

The forum doesn't seem to represent a cross section of Republicans, does it?

Between the two of those, Romney. Paul will never get my vote. Don't like Romney either though.

Romney, hands down. Romney is the only GOP candidate left in the running that I even prefer to President Obama.

I'm not supposed to vote since I think Obama is better than anyone the else we have a choice of. Ron Paul helps insure Obama's election more than Romney does.

Mitt Romney.

At the moment it is disproportionately supportive of libertarian platforms.

I'll vote for anyone who is opposed to "hope and change".......I don't know if we can sustain another four years of it. But in this isolated "experimental" case.........Mitt Romney.
