Your questions illustrate the problem of describing sexuality as an exclusively dichotomous reality.
 
Being drunk clouds ones judgement, but it also loosens the mind and removes mental barriers to actions and thoughts. If anything I would say if someone is drunk and they have sexual attractions that are not normal for their orientation it is probably due to repressed sexual desires/fantasies that the person has. And no, I do not think these things would make a homosexual heterosexual or a heterosexual homosexual.
 
I do have to admit that the more I drink, the less a certain part of me is willing to become perfectly straight.

and now that I am an old fart, this tendency has only worsened.

alchohol loosens you up and removed inhibitions....and fears.

so if alchohol makes you feel sexually attracted towards men..and even has you act on, then yeah...one could argue that the alchohol is allowing you to expose your repressed homosexual feelings.

I, however, become become even more hornyier towards women when I drink.

One big horny monster, the red wine makes me. Hide your daughters & wives!!!!!

Everyone is a little gay. Some people who try really hard to suppress the little bit of simple affection they have for other people. It doesn't change who you are. It makes you normal. Those suppressions aren't so strong when you're a bit zonked. Also, let's remember, a lot of things that someone might perceive as "gay"... aren't really. Unless you actually go to bed with someone, you're probably fine.
 
Neither. Sexuality isn't black and white like that.

I'm straight. Yet there are a few isolated cases where I've been attracted to a woman. It's different than my attraction to men. The only way I can think to describe it is a "proto-attraction." It's like it never completely developed into the capacity to have full romantic feelings for a woman, but there's a vestigial trace of it buried somewhere in my psyche.

Does that make me gay, or even bi? I don't think so, no. It just makes me human. I'm complex and not perfectly black or perfectly white. Most people aren't. Even people who are "straight" or "gay." And some people are considerably more gray than that - bisexual, pansexual, hell, some people are asexual. All normal.
 
I am no more attracted to women when drunk than I am when sober. Then again, I have no "latent, subconscious" attractions. I am well aware of my bi-sexual leanings and fairly open about them. As I am in a committed, long-term relationship, I no more act on those attractions when drunk than I do when sober.

Then again, I can count the number of times I've been drunk in the last 5 years on one hand with fingers left over, so...

Neither, it isn't an accurate predictor of true sexual orientation. You're under the influence of a mind altering chemical that might cause you to do any number of things that you wouldn't ordinarily do when sober. A drunk woman might suddenly drop her panties hike up her skirt squat and pee on the sidewalk. Does that mean she has a latent but suppressed desire to pee on sidewalks? No, she's just ****ing drunk.
 
Its outrageous this this crap is so overplayed.... and I don't know and I do not care.
Even running into the 60s, I think, being gay meant being happy; now its just the opposite.
 
Having sex with men doesn't make you gay, whether you're drunk or not. You're only gay if you date men or marry one.

Being gay doesn't have anything to do with whom you have sex with. It's a matter of whom you fall in love with. You can have a one-night stand with a different man every weekend for your entire adult life and not be gay.

however, how do you expect the average straight guy to engage in anal sex with a man?

its not like the average straight guy is attracted to all asses, regardless of who its attached to.
 
I don't believe so in either case. I am gay. I make out with women when I am drunk. Why do I make out with women when I am drunk? Because I have the desire to kiss someone and women generally have softer lips. Besides, all of my girlfriends want to make out with me because I kiss better than their own boyfriends.

Humans are sexual creatures. We ****. By nature, most of us aren't nearly so picky about what we **** as social convention tells us we're supposed to be. Under the right circumstances, most people will voluntarily engage in homosexual acts but very few people-- only confirmed homo- and bisexuals-- will pursue long-term romantic relationships with people of the same gender. So it doesn't really mean anything if you take the cute boy home from the bar and **** him, but if you're holding his hand and calling him pet names in the morning you're gay.

I'm sorry, but only gay guys hook up with the "cute" boy at the bar.

I am straight, and when I drink, women look hotter, and I get hornier. I don't start becoming sexually attracted to guys.

Any "straight" guy who starts ****ing men when he drinks, is most likely really bi...or gay but forcing himself somehow to screw chicks to hide his gayness. How he does it, I don't know.
 
IMO, if drinking makes you attracted to members of the opposite sex, you already were, you're just in denial.

if you "suddenly" become attracted to men when drinking, than you are repressing homosexual feelings and are lying to yourself.

alchohol doesn't make you anything you weren't already, it simply lets you feel more comfortable expressing it.

I dunno. I've met some straight guys who love anal sex. The prostate is a very powerful thing. Pegging is not as uncommon as some people would think.
