“I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on what’s being proposed here, he’d agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute.” - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.
Now, about that immaturity. It is rampant on this and probably all debating sites. Unless, you are blind, you will easily see that it happens on all sides of the political aisle. If you don't believe me, I will gladly show you where liberals are immature as anyone on this site. I can show you the same from conservatives. Who did it first? Who cares? I have grown tired of some of the threads that liberals have started or highjacked and I have a habit of goading the liberals on those threads. They say that all the GOP candidates are all crazy or stupid or whatever their peeve is. I respond by bashing Dems or Obama. I try not to start it, but I will provide Hell if they wish to persist. In the meantime, I am having fun.
I'd give him a C-. He's done a piss-poor job overall, but he did get DADT repealed. OTOH, I would give George W. Bush a D-. The Patriot Act and illegal pre-emptive war on Iraq would have been an automatic F, except the OP had to add that stupid "The worst traitor, blah blah blah."
Edit: Ah, never mind. I foolishly answered the OP's question, but the thread has already been hijacked into a discussion of presidential middle names. My bad.

Like I said before, the President is like the quarterback. When outcomes go wrong, he gets all the blame (whether or not he is actually to blame or not). When a few things go right, we attribute the good things to him.
