From memory of reading about huge corruption, I voted for Harding. The truth is that I don't feel knowledgeable enough about the others to be qualified to give a meaningful vote. To me, the Presidency for sale, as what Harding was famous for is the worst of all possible scenarios. Reminds me of GWShiiteForBrains and his war industries administration.

Andrew Johnson was impeached.

Complete fail. Like Clinton he was impeached in the congress but the senate failed to remove him. Its akin to being indicted by a grand jury but acquitted by the petit jury.

Yeah, I just looked it up. The Senate was one vote short and he was acquitted.

True. But the guy was still a huge asshole.

Buchanan. Though Johnson gave him a run for his money.

asshole-who knows

less than competent-absolutely

the only president in my adult lifetime would call an asshole in real life was Jimmy Carter.

Interesting...he's probably one of the only Presidents in the last half century that we have had that I would call a halfway decent human being.

I'm related to John Tyler so he's the best! ;)

if you ever run into anyone who was on the 1980 Olympic team ask them

one of my best friends is one of two men to have won the gold in Montreal and then again in LA. He noted that another athlete noted that when Carter croaks all of those olympians were going to become sprinters as they try to run the fastest to see who gets to piss on Carter's grave first.

the crap that clown threatened guys I trained with is unbelievable and sadly was never discussed by the MSM

I have you beat when it comes to worthless presidential ancestors

Millard Fillmore (whose only achievement was returning an honorary degree (in latin) from Oxford noting that since he did not have the benefit of a "classical education" he could not read Latin and nothing would be more presumptuous than holding a degree he could not read)

and William Henry Harrison-a great Indian fighter, he apparently caught pneumonia while giving an incredibly long winded speech after being elected and croaked shortly thereafter

Your fruit certainly fell close to that tree.

Yes, he was. If Johnson had gotten his way, slavery would have continued after the Civil War. Fortunately, Congress overrode his wishes. Think of it. After all that bloodshed and destruction, and we didn't at least end slavery.

You forgot the worse of all (before Obama came along)...Chester A. Arthur.

Warren Harding.

Even if he supported the decision, he didn't have any say over it. However, it does play into the reason why I think he's one of the worst Presidents. He absolutely refused to take a leadership role when it came to slavery. At the very least, he did not really make much of an attempt to compromise with the South, let alone stand up to the supporters of the institution.
