One of them said the other day that he should get the vote since he can raise the money and has the best organization to see him through to the final election. What about the issues or the candidate? Vote for them since they have the money?
Yes - because they're voting for who should get the GOP nomination, and the point of that is to win the election, and to do that you have to beat Obama. So "I am the most prepared to win" is a perfectly good reason for a candidate running for the nomination to cite.
