Your position requires the presumption there is no difference between the positions of those running for office. I do not make that presumption.

You have to admit two things however.
#1 this isn't the ideal way to maximize representation on issues (That's libertarianism)
So give up that claim that it is (if you made it)

#2 Your system above unfortunately doesn't do that, it would put a majority in charge of setting the priority. This does not, and cannot ensure, that the majority knows what is best for the community at large.

That you don't appear to acknowledge #2 is a concern. It's what has lead historically to a small minority controlling a majority, that does really bad things to their citizens, and to the world at large. PLease, build me a system where majority has supreme power, and I will corrupt the **** out of it and enslave a minority faster than you can react.

As Tucker pointed out, you also apparently do want to eliminate minority rights.

Not at all. I've definitely pointed out that the two party-system creates a false dichotomy, which implies there is a difference between candidates on a superficial level.

My position only requires one to be honest and acknowledge that the current system does not adequately represent the people of the nation and it is a system that iswell-known to be the one that has the highest number of "wasted votes".

My position only requires one to be aware of common-knowledge information.

The US does that already. Anyone who isn't in step with the two-party mantra is effectively enslaved by it since the US system is one that prevents them from getting representation in government by virtue of not being part of the majority.

Libertarianism has never been successfully implemented to run a country that I am aware of. Somalia is the closet to Libertarianism that I can think of.

Who better to decide what is best for the community at large than the people?

The majority =/= the people. It only equals the majority. 51% is a majority. That means 49% of the people are ****ed, even if they were the one's with the right idea.

Yeah, thats where we differ. I see stark differences on taxes, and caring for our own people.

My position only requires one to be honest and acknowledge that the current system does not adequately represent the people of the nation and it is a system that iswell-known to be the one that has the highest number of "wasted votes".
The main problem with our system is corporate money. Take that out of the picture and our system represents as well as any government can in a county with a majority of center/right people that like to go to war.

That means the 49% has to work harder to get their ideas accepted by more people. A democracy can only work if people are willing to be responsible to do their part.

Absolutely false. To make that claim, you have to ignore the reality of how our First past the post system works, which is well-documented as the least representative and having the highest number of wasted votes. Any proportional system is far more representative of it's people.

    This is very easily verified.
